San Antonio Solar Panel Installation - Solar Company

San Antonio Solar Panel Installation - Solar Company

Downtown

San Antonio Solar Panel has been stellar from beginning to end. Sean was able to put together a…read morecustomized solution that exceeded all of our expectations at a very competitive price point making it a no-brainer. The tax credits made it that much more appealing. We just activated our solar system and we couldn't be happier with the results. Why San Antonio Solar was the choice for us? For starters they truly believe in QUALITY! The best products, backed by the best warranties in the industry, by the best installers. We have gone through the entire process working with Sean and David. We are so pleased with the attention to detail throughout. Their warranty is straight forward, products are backed for 25 years along with the installation. Simple! When talking with their installers, they also reaffirmed that SA Solar wants them to do quality work and not just rush through the jobs. Our solar solution included SolarEdge HD-Wave grid tied award winning inverter with integrated car charger. It is compact, efficient and so cool as far as inverters go! As part of the project we also asked SA Solar to build a pergola in our backyard and mount the solar panels on top tilted to the south allowing us maximum energy production. The team designed and installed a Gorgeous pergola that's also very functional, for us to enjoy for many years to come. Now that it is all set up, all we can say is WOW and THANK YOU to the amazing team at San Antonio Solar Panel.

They know their business inside out, and their customer service is outstanding. When the first set of batteries finally died at the cabin, they had new ones ready for us in no time. The install crew took two days to do our system in town, and by the time they were done they were our friends. Even our over-protective border collie loved them. They're simple the best.

Freedom Solar saved me $$$$ on our 20 Solar Panel Installation…read more I shopped around for 20 Solar Panels from 3-5 Solar Companies. I wanted to "Zero Out",our Perdenales Electric Bill. Besides,6-8 months,an Electric Bill at $3-500 each month,we can pay off the Solar in 10-15 years!!! We have a 2350 Sq. Ft. Home. Air Conditioner is our "energy hog." We have an Electric Dryer also. Without Solar,$350-500,a thermostat set @ 78 degrees, around the clock. We had Leo and Joshua the Solar Panel Installers. The "Dynamic Duo" showed up on time, early in the morning. They proceeded to get out their Solar Plans, measure for the rail mounts system, drill, and install mounting brackets, rails, seal, etc. It was a tad bit windy the install day,and it is NOT an easy task walking up a ladder, loaded down with a Solar Panel. Leo,Joshua were young, strong, gifted, intelligent, "All-Pros!" Mounts,Rails,Wiring,Solar Panels,Electric Pipe all in. "The Dynamic Duo" were finished with their portion of the job. The Freedom Solar Electrician was to set the Solar Electric Panel, finish running wire and pipe from Solar panels to new panel. And tie into existing 200 Amp Panel. From start to finish, getting HOA ,City,Perdenales permits, etc.,to getting the okay to place our Brand New Solar System "Online",2-3 Months. Thank-you Freedom Solar. Thank-you Leo,Joshua,"World-Class Service!" Freedom Solar do give these two a 10% raise. Leo and Joshua are "the Backbone of Freedom Solar." Yes,I'd refer all friends and family to Freedom Solar. Should I need to install more Solar Panels at a future date....Arnold Schwarzenegger said it best,"I'll be bach!

Longhorn Solar - Solar Panels on a Home

I ended up going with another company that actually provided cash deals and quotes . They lost out on 8 properties . Seems to me they are only interested in attempting to sell high commission and/or over priced systems in 2026. Maybe they are hurting and need to maximize profit .... I would be cautious every considering them again

Last year, I decided I wanted to invest in solar energy for my house. I discovered CPS had a list…read moreof qualified installers and I contacted several for fibs. Eventually, I chose Longhorn Solar. I found they had fair prices for the type of panels they used, and they offered a production guarantee, something not every other company offered. I also appreciated the availability to "meet" with their agent via Zoom. I am immunocompromised, so any option to limit my exposure is a big plus for me. Installation went well. Longhorn staff contacted me and verified it would be OK to come out on a certain date, and their workers showed up early. By the end of the day, the panels were up, the associated wiring and other equipment was installed, and they showed me what would happen when the system was "commissioned" by CPS. So basically, I had to wait for CPS to come out, certify the work, and then the system could go live. I waited several weeks, and when I asked, I was told Longhorn had to wait for CPS to schedule the commissioning date. After waiting for another week, I called CPS and asked what it took to get them over. Five minutes later, they said they'd by my house the next day. Sure enough, the next afternoon, I had a fully functioning solar system. About a year later, I thought I'd compare production to what was promised, and found they had met their promise. That's the good part. The not so good part? I thought we'd installed enough panels to offset about 90% of my need, but in fact, I realized we had seriously underestimated the need. Not Longhorn's fault, but rather mine. I pushed them to design a system with only about five months of data, not the twelve months recommended. So I decided I wanted a 95% solution, and called them back. Despite all the COVID disruptions, they were able to come back and once again, installed and integrated 13 new panels to my system. But once again, we have to wait for CPS to commission the new panels. And that's where the problem lies. I have been patient. The work was done on the 28th of December. I waited until the 8th of January and asked if Longhorn had any idea when the new panels could go live. I was told it was up to CPS to schedule. After a couple of weeks, I called CPS, and was told that at Longhorn's request, I could not ask for their commissioning. CPS had to wait for Longhorn to ask. Last week, I contacted Longhorn, and was told they were waiting on CPS. When I mentioned CPS was waiting on them, I got a very abrupt response "We are waiting on a date from CPS, next step will be commission scheduled and CPS will provide us with a date. " I'm not happy. It feels like Longhorn got 90% of their money, but won't do the last part to my system can go live. They got a lot of my money, and I have an expensive roof covering. I feel like I was dismissed; I feel like since they got so much of my money, the company isn't concerned about me. I feel disrespected. Call me disappointed with Longhorn Solar.
