I wondered if the salesperson might appear through the window, not wanting to be in a store alone in a very quiet shopping center. I would think there'd be a sign or something explaining she was on a quick break, given she was the sole employee. I've seen that in other situations in the past. But that wasn't my real issue. She was pleasant and answered my few questions, but she never walked away from her sales podium, except for the one time she brought me a cotton pad. But she never actively tried to sell the products! I didn't want her to be pushy or anything, but, she was not solicitous or engaged. I told her from the start that I'd been interested in coming to the store and was glad I finally made it. She didn't even help me by showing me what products went together or any differences, etc. I'd hoped for more attention and information than I get from a visit to a Target or grocery aisle.
