My husband and I decided to work with Richa for our first dance at our wedding reception. She was very clear and direct in her professional communication and even offered to help us with our mix since I had specific songs I wanted to mesh together. She was really patient while I changed my mind with the songs and ultimately had our wedding DJ do a mix. I asked her to make a dance that would not be difficult but would still have done interesting components rather than simple slow dancing for 3 min. She executed the vision perfectly. Our dance was simple enough for two non dancers to perform and remember and interesting enough for our guests to find it memorable. Richa drove to our home and charged a very reasonable gas fee. She gave us extra time and we were able to learn the dance in one session rather than two! She brought her speaker and wrote out the moves together with the lyrics of the song which was incredibly helpful to memorize the order of the steps. We kept those butcher papers up on our wall for weeks and practiced almost daily. Richa also took a couple videos of us before she left so we could watch our dance for reference over the week. She came back approximately one week later as we had some concerns about dead space for a few counts before our ending pose. Richa was kind and complimented our work, saying she could see a night and day difference due to us practicing over the week. She helped us by adding in a little something to fill the dead counts on the spot and it was perfect. Additionally. Richa was super accomodating to my husband, who requested some help with some general Indian dance moves for his baraat. She made herself available for a zoom class and he told me he used several of the moves during his baraat and it made him feel confident and have fun dancing with his friends! Wedding planning can be so stressful but truly I felt the best and most fun part was working with Richa and dancing with my husband. Neither of us are dancers so it meant the world to pull this off and we will cherish the memory and the video/ photos forever. My boyfriend and I worked with Richa on a Bollywood choreography for a friend's upcoming wedding. When our friend first asked us to perform, we were both pretty nervous and anxious about dancing. But after working with Richa we started to feel very comfortable. And most importantly, we had a lot of fun dancing together. Richa created a choreography that was easy but also fun. She was also very accommodating, meeting us at my apartment or having us over at her place to practice. She also developed a video for us so we can practice on our own. Richa is very observant, she watches her dancers closely to better understand which steps are tricky and then breaks down those steps into simpler movements, making us practice them over and over. A strength of Richa's is that she really tries to connect with her dancers and this type of connection in turn inspires and motivates the dancers.
