WOW!!! Just when I thought I loved the Pasadena location, this one might actually take the cake…read more The service was great from the moment I walked in; the front desk staff was so sweet and welcoming. I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes. He was fun, energetic, and really set the tone. Playlist was baddie certified! LOVED him! I also appreciated how well maintained everything was, soaps fully stocked, cozy studio rooms, and an overall vibe that felt intentional and inviting. I think this might be my new go to location. I don't even mind the drive :)

This is probably my least favorite location out of all the Hot 8 Yoga spots I've been to. It's…read morenoticeably smaller compared to the others, and overall it just doesn't feel as well kept. Cleanliness at this specific location could definitely be better maintained. The mat I rented that day was a bit smelly, and the towel was too, which wasn't great. That said, this has nothing to do with the staff.. the front desk is very friendly, and the instructor I had for yin was wonderful. No complaints there at all. I'd probably avoid this particular location moving forward though, that's all.

Sweat Yoga is great! I've tried hot yoga for a few one off times (Y7 & Brightside) but I like the…read moreatmosphere (and price!) of Little Tokyo Sweat better. I have been going for a couple months now, and every instructor seems really knowledgeable and the classes are well structured. The cold lavender towel at the end of each class is a nice highlight. This location also has access to 3 showers (not in the main space, but close) so it can be convenient before work too. The showers are nothing decent but clean and stocked with shampoos/soap. Front desk folks are also always super friendly and efficient!

The classes can be challenging (especially the chisel class) but they are fun and I feel like a got a great workout in the hour I'm there! The people at front desk are always kind and helpful, the studio has always been clean, and I don't think I've ever had an instructor I didn't like. I have certain instructors I personally love and will go out of my way to attend their classes, but I don't think you can go wrong! And the lavender towel at the end of class is soooo nice! It's hard to find a good yoga place in LA that isn't intimidating and is welcoming to people who don't look like the "stereotypical" yoga goddess. I love coming to class and seeing all the diversity in the room sweating it out together - that's what yoga should be about. Shout out to Gabby who's my favorite instructor there! Her playlists are fire and the chisel workouts kick my butt. I feel strong after leaving each class!

It doesn't really make sense but OK, already vibe ruined but i took the aerial 1 class. The man followed me around asking where i got my yoga mat and even when i was leaving asked if i am taking my yoga mat and where it is etc- very annoying, bizarre and frankly off putting as hell. he was anything but welcoming so i suggest you remove him from whatever he's doing in the front. never want to come back. apparently you have to pay for rental yoga mat. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.

I highly recommend trying and combining each instructor and the various classes provided at yoga circle for a wholistic practice. The three very unique teachers that have distinguished styles are Knekoh, Jacqui, and Rob. I love all three and each teacher serves a precise purpose to my yoga practice. Knekoh for my mindful meditation, Jacqui for a concentration of the body, and Rob for spiritual awakening. The other instructors are also great and are generally a hybrid of these three. If you're up for the challenge, source Yoga Circle as your place to complete the 200 hour yoga teacher training. I was in the 2020 class with Knekoh and Rob. Yoga Circle did a tremendous job at switching from real life training to virtual training. The quickness of the transition was impressive. Both Knekoh and Rob are incredibly dedicated to their students and their own practice. Both have polar yet complementing energies that make the TT special.

Some thoughts: - Thumbs up for the intimate environment and variety in classes instructional styles (I really appreciate how the instructors are keen on teaching different poses and providing tips). - I really enjoyed the therapeutic yoga class for neck and shoulders. - Knekoh is very welcoming and kind! - The high ceilings and natural lighting from the skylight windows contribute to a great ambience! - From a cleanliness standpoint, I also really appreciate that shoes are taken off upon entering :)
