I've only been to classes in the first floor (zumba, Wednesday nights and Sunday morning), but I attend quite regularly so I'm in and out of there pretty regularly. While it's definitely a great location (hello monopoly!) and I am so grateful for it's existence, it could definitely use an upgrade. The floors are in great shape which is of course the most important feature of a dance studio, but it is lacking in quite a few other areas, mainly the air conditioning (um, there is none) and the washrooms (why are you so tiny and dingy?). Even with it's downfalls, Dovercourt House is still a great part of the neighbourhood.

He made sure we all knew what the exercises were that we were doing, why we were doing them and how to get the most out of each class. He even filmed me performing my personalized stretches using my phone while explaining each step, so I could do these exercises at home. Sean is an inspiration, and I can't recommend his classes enough... no matter who you are. The Loft is one of the things I will miss most in the Junction when I move.
