If a child takes more than one class, they will for sure put those dances into separate year end shows (and there are 4 of them), just so you purchase more tickets (and you will if you want to see your child at all) - more money for them. Costumes cost ridiculous money, even though some of them are bought at Old Navy and Gap. They got their fame because of their son playing on a TV show and now everyone wants to be "famous". People travel from Kitchener, Guelph, etc. for the hope of 5 minutes of fame. Ridiculous! Place is becoming crowded and students can't grow as dancers because they don't get the attentions they should. I will not even mention the fees.

The burden is on the members to find a class to fulfill the membership so you will end up paying for classes that are not available, but the Underground Dance studio's position is that's your problem for not devoting more of your time towards planning dance classes far in advance and following waitlists. You are required to sign up for a recurring membership fee to take the trial. My daughter was not aware. After the trial her credit card was charged about $28 per week for several months without her taking one class. The Underground Dance studio raked in the fees with no classes taken. Remember, the business model is that it's your responsibility to fight your way into a class and the Studio has zero responsibility. It is predatory.

Unfortunately, I was approached in a very abrupt way in the middle of my session by Alyssa, the GM. She asked me to turn off my phone or cancel my membership. Even though I explained to her that I was promised an exception. She could have waited for me to finalize my workout. No, she had to interrupt in a very abrupt way. I ended the google meet session and I asked to finish my workout. After finalizing it, I canceled my membership.it was very misleading allowing me to join the gym just to make me going through such a disrespectful experience. Alyssa should get a better training on customer service. I have been training with my personal trainer for 3 years via Google meet, thus developing a friendship and a professional relationship. I have already found a new gym that values my business and is open to new technologies. It gets very busy during peak hours which I avoided. I only joined one health because it is a walking distance. The equipment was old. I was told I could connect my Netflix to the equipment, that was one of the "selling" points. I'm not disadvantaged when it comes to technology, I can figure it out. I couldn't find how to set up the Netflix and the Bluetooth wasn't working on the machines so I asked the girl working there for help. She told me "Oh, I've literally never used it before so I'm not sure". Great. Thanks. Forget everything, I just didn't appreciate the ants on the floor. Also, the steam room should be cleaned.
