The classes are loaded onto your account, and the easiest way to book the class is online, or via their app. The classes open up 72 hours (or 3 days) before the actual class, and these things fill up QUICK. So, some planning ahead is required. They do have waitlist available, which means if someone cancels, you get their spot. Beware of their cancellation policies, though - give it a good read and realize that this will be a commitment of your time, or else you're paying! I have no problem with this, but I can see where others who are prone to changing-plans might find this tedious. The classes themselves are upbeat and fun, and always loaded with awesome music. I think I've tried at least 4 of the instructors in Pole Beginner 1 now, and they all have a different "style" but they stick to the same syllabus, in terms of moves you need to master to move up the classes. You can't just jump ahead - they make sure you've got these moves down before they'll promote you. I love the classes because they have equal parts fitness, dance, and just plain ol' sexiiiii girliness. Sexy crawls on the floor? Twerking? hair flips??? Yes, yes, and yes, and with some upper body strength too. My Groupon is coming to an end soon, and then they'll be looking at a regular Vixen!

We did inverts and had a really good experience. I can't wait to go back for a full hour class. The pole dancing course was okay. They taught us a choreographed dance (it was difficult to follow along) but we didn't do as many spins as I would have liked. I took one pole dancing class at a competitor years ago and it felt more like a workout but if you want to learn a sexy dance routine for a special someone, this would definitely be the class for you. They also offer bachelorettes and private lessons. I definitely want to try some of the other classes. This location is located on the third floor of Seduction. I wasn't sure if I was the right address when I arrived but it was. The instructors and employees working at this location are extremely friendly and kind. I definitely recommend you check it out for a flirty time.

Its not as easy as it looks and for a beginners class (1hr) you work up a sweat. For first timers we were a bit rough in execution but did not let that take away from the fun we all had, both the music and positive attitude that come through in Chenagne's class makes me want to come back and try another style of dance. The studio is a bit small but can hold 5 - 10 people but any more and I feel it would be too crowded, there are change rooms upstairs and the studio is easy to get to as it is a 5 min walk from Ossington Station.

This is one of the worst dance studios I've been too. Yes, most dance studios are a money grab, but…read morethis one is just the worst. First of all, the owner is rude and extremely obnoxious. She has made my child cry before not even about something dance related. Also, the website lies. It has a picture that compares BDM to other dance studios that just irks me. It says, "hassle free recitals" vs. "expensive and unorganized." Their recitals are very expensive! You not only have to pay for the costumes, and the tickets but there are also these other fees for nothing. My guess is so they don't have to pay themselves to rent the school auditorium where the dancers perform. The recitals are also always disorganized, always running late (like everything) and they're always having difficulties during the recital. It says, "maximum 12 students" vs. "no limit... up to 30 or more." The reason they don't have 30 or more is because 30 kids wouldn't fit into their studios. My daughter had a class of 5 girls and it was cramped. They do have a bigger studio at the front, but I would say even that one fit only up to 10. So the 12 student limit is too much.. there's no way 12 kids could fit into one studio and DANCE. It says, "easy/convenient 24/7 online" vs. complicated, paper-based." It is actually almost impossible to reach the owner, if it's a problem she doesn't want to deal with. It says, "no commitment, quit anytime" vs. "large commitment and payment." This is the one that makes me the most angry. My daughter decided she didn't like a class she was taking and wanted to quit. The owner said that she had to tell her a month in advance! Well according to the website, you can quit anytime! She said she absolutely could not quit without a months notice. You could not show up to the class, but you still have to pay for a month, which is of course not cheap and quite a waste. She did give her the option of taking another class for that month, which was nice, but there wasn't another class she wanted to take, so she was stuck for four weeks. A few last things are that the classes often start late. And sometimes even end early. I understand the teachers need a break, but maybe that break should be scheduled instead of taking up the time that we have paid for. It's overall very unprofessional. The owner does not know how to run a business and is clearly does not know how to keep her customers happy. Huge waste. Please find another dance studio. I wouldn't even say it is worth if you lived next door to the place.

I visited this dance studio this past weekend to learn a dance called zouk and was taught by Davy…read moreand Natalia. The studio is a bit hard to find because it's kind of in an alley, but it's perfectly safe. The studio itself has a nice floor but the only qualm I have is that there isn't any air conditioning (or at least it felt that way). In terms of the zouk class, it was about 2 hours long. There was a bit of stretch and warm up and they went over the basic steps and gave us 15-20 minute to practice as well. The instructors were very friendly and I was able to somewhat dance it (albeit poorly but I know the steps - just gotta work on the timing and musicality) after the workshop. The staff were very friendly as well and I plan to come here again.
