Not just a railway station.... but a Rhylway Station.
This is part of one of the most beautiful parts of North Wales, which is really a tourist region and gets a lot of tourist traffic, and people from England especially, mainly. It's on the Crewe to Holyhead coastal line, and it's definitely a coastal resort station.
They have barriers to stop people jumping the railway, which a lot of North Wales stations don't.
It's right in the town so there's a lot of beautiful old housing and a gorgeous old bridge. It's definitely one of the prettiest stations in North Wales that's for sure. And it has the typical smokestacks coming out of the top of the Station House like all the North Wales stations seem to have. read more
