Good train links, to Liverpool or West Kirby (you can change at Bidston for Trains to Neston, Deeside & Wales). Trains are frequent and there is a shelter with seating on both sides. Staff are there all day, starting 15mins before the first service until 15minutes after the last train. The station is covered with CCTV and there are Help Points, Telephones and an Induction Loop System. There is a 'Park and Ride' (205 spaces) car park just across the road from the station, which is also covered by CCTV however no overnight parking is permitted.
There is full disabled access to the station with wide ramps at each side.
