a fantastic day out a museum with a child friendly touch screen computer.also displays to view a good place for lots of info on rhyl and on the railway and workings of the engines , even a blue engine called clara thats looks a bit like thomas, great for the little ones that don't know the difference, refreshments available at really good affordable prices and cheaper than most cafes or take away kiosks in town or on the promenade as a large tea is only 50p and a large coffee is only 60p, it also has a gift shop with some great gifts and novelties it even sells backwards clocks,these are available from the ticket office, seating both on the platform and outside (in nice weather ) steam trains to ride on and view, an electric tram car, a deisel engine . school trips are welcome, and private functions are available. many education boards around the platform for both adults and children and a trip on the train costs only £1-00 for children and £2-00 for adults.
nice staff, free parking at side of westbourne ave. nice walk if you go around the lake also the path is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. you can very often see watersports on the lake and always plenty of picnic areas to choose from.
The train has a disabled compartment/carriage so friendly for all, even pets on leads are welcome to travel free of charge. no concessions for anyone as the fares are very low indeed. no charge for the museum, how often can you find stuff to do free.
