WARNING! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I've never written a bad review, so it sucks to do this but I want others to be aware. I took my dog there today for his appointment at 12pm, I dropped him off at 11:45am and was told it would take 1-2 hours and they would call me whenever he was ready to be picked up. I specifically told them NOT TO SHAVE HIM, deshedding and a trim only. I was reassured that he would not be shaved, just what I requested. After not receiving a call two hours later, at 2:30 I came in to check up and see how much longer it would be since I only live down the road and had time to wait, thinking it would maximum be 30 minutes. Rhonda told me he wasn't even in the tub yet, and that it would be another hour at least before he was ready. I went home and waited, and waited.. 5pm comes around and I decide to call because the store closes at 5pm. I say, "I see the store is closing, is my dog ready?" And Rhonda says, "Oh we thought you were coming back in twenty minutes he's been ready!" at this point I'm just so confused. I get there in 20 minutes and the first thing she says is "Please don't have a heart attack." Now I'm furious, questioning; Where my dog is, is he hurt? Did he bite another dog? (It's his first time at a groomers so he was scared) and I see him. I see him and my dog is totally SHAVED. Not only was he shaved and I specifically said not to do it, it was a HORRIBLE shave job. Rhonda's excuse was that he was difficult to work with and would not let her brush him, so they shaved him. That is a ridiculous excuse. If he was "that bad" then I should have been called and asked what I would like to do or ways to console him, anything but just go ahead and shave him after I told them specifically not to. I was never called when there was a problem, or when he was ready, or even when the store was CLOSING. This place is so unprofessional, I couldn't believe it. I looked past the dirty lobby walking in, the psycho store dog, and overall look of the place upon getting there but this was just ridiculous. Needless to say, I did not pay for his grooming, and hopefully you can see from the pictures why. He has bald spots on his hind legs, and a completely botched shave job all over, his head looks like one type of dog and his body another. Please do not take your animal here, your dog will end up with a botched haircut and end up waiting hours for you. I am so disappointed and dumbfounded how this happened and I just want others to hear my story before they schedule an appointment here because I was under the impression that it was a great pet salon. I am so happy. My little 6pound maltese went to Rhonda for the first time today. She is 11was so scared and shaking. Rhonda met me at the door and was so loving and caring to my little Dottie. I never took my dog due to the unfriendly way I was spoken at by the owner when I called for pricing. When I said I didn't think due to her attitude I would be bringing my dog she had what can only be described as a screaming fit on the phone. If that's her personality I am concerned her short temper should not be exposed to my dog! read more

I took my dog here today for a nail trim. Very affordable and quick without an appointment. Just walked in and in probably 3 minutes he was done! And a great job she was quick and gentle with my dog, he didn't cry once :) will be back whenever he needs his nails trimmed! read more

I had to take my dog to get his nails clipped and it was a somewhat stressful situation. My dog is only a year old and is still scared of places like that. The two women inside were friendly. The place itself looked scary. It looked dirty and not very well maintained. Rhonda was quick and got the job done but I feel like she could have been a little sweeter with my scared pup. Wont take my dog here again, customer service is not her best feature. My dog came out shaved on one occasion another time not cut properly and still wet after she had my dog for 4 hours. - I don't think she has her 'act' together. Not again! read more

I found a sweet, stray dog in my yard today. I called Rhonda's to see if it might be a client's dog, which it wasn't. The dog was groomed but full of pickers, it was really bad. I asked Rhonda if she would be able to get the pickers out and I would pay her. She told me to drop him off on my way to work which I did. I told her I would pay her and she said since I was taking him in, she would groom him at no charge. I have never met Rhonda before. Not long after I got to work, I found the owner on Facebook's lost pet page. He went to get his dog and paid to have Rhonda groom him. Hats of to Rhonda for being so kind and caring. read more
