Even though we had a hard time deciding between single family homes (Detached) and town homes/Condos (Attached), Ryan was always patient with us. He was with us every step of the way with great insights on affordability, explaining how home offers work, even when we decided to switch our search locations! No matter the twists and turns we presented (I'm sorry Ryan!!), Ryan stood by our side the entire process. In fact, he was a mentor for us, who went to essentially EVERY single house we wanted to see, who gave valuable opinions and insights on every home and even the area where the home was located. He checked in with us and made sure we actually loved the house instead of pushing us towards a home to make a quick sale. Ryan is the kind of real estate agent you would want; patient, will educate you during the whole process, and will ensure you're taken care of during the whole process!

Ryan was down to earth and walked us through each step, always respectful of our situation and perspective while providing honest and insightful counsel. Ryan worked with us even before any formal agreement, advising on remodeling and market value. We had to sell our condo due to unemployment, it was an emotionally difficult process but Ryan and his team were always supportive and compassionate. Ryan went above and beyond in terms of availability and providing hands on help. This process could have been an absolute nightmare with a lesser realtor, but we always felt safe guided by Ryan's expertise.

I wish I could give her zero stars, she certainly deserves it. My husband and I met Kristin when…read morewe were looking for a home to purchase in June of 2018. She seemed to run 'colder' personality wise and we even joked with her that she comes across as someone whose bad side you would not want to be on. She said that was very true. We would come up w/ a list of homes we wanted to see and then meet her to show us - she would stay out of our way and wasn't very personable. If we asked questions about the neighborhood she would say she is not allowed to talk about that. It was weird. We found a home we liked with her and at the home inspection we found out the property had quite a few issues (the upstairs rec room wasn't property vented, foundation had several cracks, etc.) and pulled out, we were out the cost of the inspection. That weekend we wanted to look at more homes but Kristin wasn't avail. so my husband and I went to open houses that we found. We found a home we adored! We decided to add her name as our realtor, even though she didn't find the home. That was a HUGE mistake. We asked her to put in an offer. I asked her advice about putting in a strong offer and if we could ask for a CC credit and she said the offer would be stronger with out that (our next realtor got us a huge CC credit). The offer that was put in was a full offer with no inspection. A seller's dream. We didn't do an inspection because the house had a builder warranty as the property was only three years old. I joined the community facebook. On that FB page the seller wrote that their hot water heater was leaking and that their A/C wasn't working. That put up a red flag to me and I asked Kristen (same week of the offer) if we can get a home inspection given that new information and she said "You have 5 business days to conduct an inspection - if you can get someone there today at 4pm please let me know so I can clear it with the sellers because I only requested 30 minutes and would need to request 3 hours. Today is the 5th business day." I called so many inspectors in the area and could not get one in such short notice. Every inspector I talked to said at that time of year it takes about 3 days to set up an inspection. I told Kristen I couldn't find one on such short notice and told her we would meet her at 4:00 to show our family the house. I now know at this point that the attorney could have asked for an extension. We thought that our realtor would have told us that. She did not. I was scheduled that day to show my kids and family the house (sister / mom, etc) and we went through the house and loved it. When I got home that evening we found out we were declined for the loan. It was emotionally draining on our family and we were so disappointed. We decided Kristin wasn't a good fit for us and decided to seek out other realtors, we were so happy we did. We notified our attorney that we couldn't get the property and he notified Kristen the following Monday (we found out Friday night). On Monday our attorney notified Kristen we would not be getting the property. (She claims she did not get his communication) The same day our attorney claims he notified Kristen, she began sending my husband a disclosure that she wanted him to sign stating that she will get paid no matter what house we buy. He didn't sign and every day she re-sent the document. That Friday she contacted us saying she called the lender and that they don't have a loan for us. I wrote her saying we couldn't buy the house and that our attorney notified her. She denied receiving any info. from him. She told us in writing that we would lose our Earnest money. I didn't worry because we had a contract and the contract says we will get our EM if we are denied a loan. The listing agent wrote on the listing that we went AWOL. We did not. It has been 3 months and we still don't have our EM back. We have had to start court proceedings with small claims in order to sue to get our EM back. We felt that she did not represent us well and our experience with our next realtor was much more professional and we ended up with the house of our dreams. We couldn't be happier and it is our opinion that the realtor makes all the difference. UPDATE: 11/12/2018 - I am still in court trying to get my EARNEST money back. (five months so far) Today I received an email regarding this review. Was it an email from Kristen saying she has decided to help me to get my earnest money back? Was it a manager saying they will help me and are so sorry to hear about my experience? No. To add to the long list of frustrations, it was an email threatening to SUE me of I do not take down my YELP review. I feel like they are trying to intimidate me. I updated my review so that they don't sue me.

Like the other reviewer mentioned. We wish we could give ZERO stars…read more This woman takes days to get back to us, a very dumb move on her part; she wasted A LOT of our time; real estate may be a side line for her (in our opinion); as a general rule it is not a good idea to work with part-time realtors, they may not be as committed to their clients or their business as full-time and seasoned realtors with many years of experience. Legal disclosure: I am only stating our experience with this particular realtor, I am neither recommending or discouraging anyone to deal with her.
