We were staying in the area and needed a dinner spot. This looked good so we headed out. It was fantastic. We like different ingredients on our pizzas so I liked that they had an 8in option so we could get our own. I chose the curly pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. I loved that they had a curly pepperoni and a 'normal' pepperoni. Curly for me! Love when the edges curl up when it's cooked. I had a glass of wine which was good. They had crayons and paper covering the table so draw away. Service was excellent. Parking was on street and easy to find. Vibe was a bit college but the large booths and indie music was fun. What a great and surprise find. Awesome ambiance (get a booth). Great beer. A large fed a family of 4. The pizza was awesome. Cut into squares...which while communist, they pre-warn you. They need to work on their salad game...ceaser salad was pretty pathetic. Also the menu is a little unapproachable...so much going on. read more

Pleasant greeter upon entry/ neat ambiance and vibe...recalls of an old bar feel. Upper floor outside deck was enjoyable - hot day... Service was very good and friendly staff were prompt. Rhombus guys makes a solid pie. Although initially disappointed that they didn't have one of the proteins they had listed, switched to a standard Pepperoni Mushroom, which I always like to use for comparison. Pie came out medium well, so there was good browning of the cheese. Crust was surprisingly light, but held the ingredients well. Sauce was quite tasty. Mushrooms were fresh, not soggy. The pepperoni gave the least impression, perhaps because it was under the cheese and didn't present well. Service was excellent. Restaurant is in an old storefront, kitchen seems to be downstairs. I ordered the boneless wing and a T- Rex with pineapples, because pineapples belong on pizza :) I loved the Playlist and the planters that surround the rooftop. My server Gabi was very attentive and made an amazing Strawberry Basil cocktail, yum! She even shared info about an upcoming rooftop movie night. I'm glad I opted for the rooftop seating today. (Last visited September 18, 2022.) Hanging out in Fargo, ND for the weekend and we're hitting a nightclub this evening so it's important to set a good base for the turn-up! So we stopped into Rhombus Guys because the big "DETROIT-STYLE PIZZA" sign guided me right on it! Here's how things went... Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right downtown on the main drag on Main Street is this gem. There's only street parking available, but there are plenty of lots and structures around to park your fly ride. Inside was fairly quiet since it was the calm before the storm. I bet this place gets crazy after the club lets out though. The restaurant was bright, open and charismatic. On the left side was the full bar, the right were booths and the back were tables. The walls are decorated with seemingly random nick-nacks, but it adds to the character. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but I can't recall having any issues. Food: I don't want to say the food is forgettable, so I won't. It was just 2 years ago and I can't remember what I had, even though I have a pretty detailed picture. Lol. I just can't match it to anything on the menu now. The irony is, I didn't even get a Detroit-style pizza. I wound up with a small-round that had pretty thick crust, then I added sausage, peppers, ricotta and... a white sauce? Lol. No matter, I know i enjoyed it and I would like to come back to give this place another fair shot. Value: This food here isn't cheap. I feel like my small pizza was like $13.00 or something, but better that then to be hurting later for not having a good base. In conclusion, this place was pretty alright and like I said, I'd really like to give this place another shot. The facility looks run down inside. Listen I love Dive Bars but I want to feel a food establishment if its supposed to look dumpy is dumpy sheik. This place is not dumpy sheik. I can't even explain what they may have been trying to aim for. Lots of splattered art leftovers everywhere? Anyway, our waitress was not friendly. We tried their traditional and Detroit style pizza. I guess this might be the best pizza for Fargo. Their traditional pizza was ok- nothing special. Their Detroit style pizza had a very nice, thick crust but their pizza was inconsistent. Food is always great! They have a great happy hr in the afternoons. The rooftop bar is a great place to hangout and eat.

Some pairings are perfect together. A local beer and a pizza are one of those perfect pairings. I chose their version of a meat lovers pizza aka t-Rex. The flavor was good and I enjoyed the crust of the pizza. The local beer was great and I thought the service from the bartender was too. Was looking for a good pizza place since I moved from NYC. Gave this place a try. I was impressed with the Detroit Style Pizza. It reminded me of Sicilian Style Pizza. The sauce was good and the cheese was perfect. I like that the bottom was a little crunchy and well done. And they have a good selection of draft beer. read more

Had this place twice while we were in town visiting. First time we ordered a pizza for takeout. It was quickly ready and waiting for us as soon as we walked in the door. We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza which didn't disappoint. Another night we stopped in for a couple beers (great selection!) We didn't venture upstairs but downstairs had plenty of seating and a long bar to sit at! The spinach artichoke dip was outstanding and we got a Detroit style pizza to go. I happen to love Detroit style so was happy to see that on the menu for a change. Service was great. We will be ordering again next time we are in town! Eat local! read more

For ambience - this place is great. A classic building repurposed in a great way with a huge bar generously sized booths that encourage conversation and laughter over drinks and pizza. The rooftop patio is also a treat in Fargo where there aren't many good restaurant patios. The pizza is delicious, however, the salads.....underwhelming and over priced. I recently ordered Caesar salad and added grilled chicken to it. The salads arrived wilted and soggy - as if it spent time under a heat lamp....a lot of time. The dressing was broken from the heat. The grilled chicken - well, not grilled at all. It appeared to be some sort of previously frozen cubed chicken product that had been thawed and tossed in the salad. This was a second attempt at ordering a salad as an entree here over that past year - both weren't good. Thankfully my friends had ordered plenty of pizza and shared. This was a late night stop for us after a night of exploring downtown Fargo along Broadway and we got just what we were looking for, a cool place with a fun atmosphere and delicious pizza! We made our stop on Saturday night and there was karaoke going on on the main level. We made our way to the rooftop where these is a very cool separate bar area with a lot of picnic table style seating. Since we had a small party of two, we saddled up to the bar itself and were able to order a delicious pizza that hit the spot. Possibly the best pizza in town! Rhombus has a big menu with pizzas, salads, wings and more, but they're also a great local brewery. I like their beers, but they also carry a huge selection of other local brews. Nice outdoor seating on the rooftop in the summer, though it can get crowded with families and kids if you come during the daytime. (Adults can draw on the paper tablecloths with crayons too, though...) Also, for the vegans -- they offer Daiya cheese. Just make sure to order the thin crust, for some reason their normal crust isn't vegan. read more

My mouth is watering as i remember the tator tot pizza from here mmmmm! Although the raw jalapenos were insanely hot and did not make my mouth happy. We split a pizza with half tator tot whatever that was called, and the other half was deluxe which had everything a pizza lover desires. It's a full bar too so we enjoyed some brewskies with our zaa. The breadsticks were lame tho and idk i think its like a North Dakota thing but the marinara they give you is like cold Ragu.
