The list of bands playing there is top notch and the sound system is amazing. Prices are very reasonable and the money received goes to nonprofit programs for differently abled children. The field is way too hot with no reprieve from the…read moresun; there's no shade or breeze coming off the water nor are there any stores close by that a person can duck into for an AC moment. The food trucks are overpriced and often not prepared for the line. It is not easy to walk on uneven grass. There's no shaded place to sit or to have lunch. We used to spend all day at the art festival in Wickford which felt like the whole community was included. The field feels awful and excludes the town - oh but you can walk back to the town in the hot sun (5-10 minutes) if you really want to. We were out of that field after an hour. We'll wait and go to the Scituate Art Fair in October.
