I explained to her I tried to call over several days and her response was "oh sorry," in a sarcastic and careless way. I really wish I would've known this. Their website is very dated and gives no information about waiting lists. I guess I was supposed to assume this. On top of that there is no easy way to find out this information but by trying to contact them via phone or email. I'm just extremely disappointed with my interaction with this daycare.

Once my kids started at CHBS, their Japanese language skill sky rocketed. My 4 year old went from somewhat understanding what I was saying to him in Japanese, to being able to speak to me in Japanese 100%. He also learned to read and write during his time there. He said to me, "It's... all... girls." Panic set in. I convinced him to give it a try. When I picked him up later that day, he said, "Best... camp... ever!" That carried on for the full three weeks, concluding with an incredible play where the students created a whole musical from scratch... plot, music, words, sets, choreography - everything. The counselors are there help them with each piece. That was summer of 2022. It was the best three weeks of his life. He had us sign up for TASM in 2023 - this time doing the musical and Shakespeare. (What 10-year-old learns Shakespeare?!?!) Again, it was the best five weeks of his life. His younger brother just became eligible and did the "techies" version. That's where they create the sets, run the lighting, sound, and all those behind the scene things. He's hooked as well and will be signing up next year.
