The majority of main course items do contain a side salad and you can choose between French fries, rice, "Kroketten" and even fried potatoes. I had the pork Souvlaki and it was EUR 12.90 only - freshly prepared with a nice taste and the amount of food was well more than enough (I was afraid it wouldn't be when reading through the other reviews). We were excited to give them a try as we had many wonderful memories there with the old owners: my daughter's first birthday was held there for example. my now 2 year old daughter wanted to walk around the restaurant. I accompanied her. But the moment she became restless, I moved her with me at the back at the restaurant were our family members were situated. Normally, a toy or a cellphone is enough to distract her, but not today. After 5 minutes of struggles, a waiter (maybe the owner) approach me. He told me to bring my daughter outside for some fresh air. Initially, I think it was a brilliant suggestion even if it was zero degree outside. But he continued to rant that we are disrupting other customers and that "das kann nicht sein. Dies ist ein Restaurant". It was then I realize we just got thrown out. My daughter & I did left, my husband went back to have a word with him. He became apologetic & said this is not what he meant. Personally, even if the place is sentimental to me, I will NOT go back. And I highly do NOT recommend this place for families with toddlers or babies. One star because I cannot give them a negative one rating.
