We have received good care from Drs. Kisch and Ruggiano, as well as as Joyce and Pat D for counseling. They have managed to keep us out of inpatient hospitalization which is quite remarkable. The office manager Judy is a very nice lady, as is Nancy who handles the billing. Three stars only for the following reasons: I don't like the no drink policy. If its just water, why not? My mouth gets dry from the medications that I take. Certain providers are ALWAYS LATE. If this were my job, I would have been fired for sure. Las, there are a couple of staff who didn't not seem to like it there, or are just rude If they are having a bad day, they need to learn how to fake it. This is a place that…read moresupposedly cares about others and praises mental health, well I do not think I have enough space and time to explain my horrible experience. From Judith Johnson, Ben Johnson to Lizzie Olmsted, it was just the worst experience and a very sad reality when I think about mental health providers. Horrible communication, problem for appointment, no assistance with provider/doctor/therapist......just a lot! I reached out to Judith (never heard from her) reached out to Ben j (more than once) and he did replied while after and "apologized" explaining how the clinic was working on "fixing communication" but it never got any better. No one ever called me even though I left MULTIPLE messages and the reply was an email from Lizzie that fixed nothing! I am sure not all providers are the same, but my experience was garbage and unacceptable. If you need counseling, struggling with mental health THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!! If the administration, office manager, CEO can not assist with something so simple...just reassures this is not a place that will think about anyones well being (knowing how important and delicate is when someone is struggling with mental health issues and reaches out for help). This is just another money making place that does not care about anything else, but their own financial growth! STAY AWAY BIANCA S MARTINEZ

The people there are great. Friendly and efficient and the providers are top notch. I have read…read moresome of the previous reviews and find myself confused. I can't help wonder if the negative reviews are being posted by people who do not get their own way and decide to "punish" others instead of looking at the situation honestly. I had to laugh when I read a review from six years ago about a Dr that has long since retired. I'm going to keep going there because their system works.

I have been a patient here for several years. While my therapist is wonderful, the office is…read moreterribly mismanaged and micromanaged making it difficult for me to see the therapist. For example, once I forgot my insurance card when keeping an appointment. Even though my account has always been paid and insurance has remained same, the office canceled all future scheduled appointments with counselor until such time as I returned in person with the card - as a busy person this is inconvenient for me. As a result I can't get an appointment at a time I most need one. Another time QBH charged me a "back payment " of about $160.00 when I showed up for my appointment even though I had been making $40.00 copay every previous visit. No explanation was given for charge. While it later turned out to be error, I was rudely treated. I once saw one of the doctors from QBH. The quack advised me to completely stop taking medications that WORKED for me, that I had been taking for many years as prescribed by an experienced psychiatrist. Moreover the efficacy of the prescribed medications had been corroborated by 2 experienced psychiatrists when I moved to Boston. So, quack doctor, soulless office, and a great counselor. But for her I would never return to QBH

I met Marisa in the midst of a recent dark time when my old companion, Anxiety, came calling, and…read morebrought a new friend, Panic Attack. Meeting Marisa proved to be a lifesaver. Her intelligence, knowledge, competence, confidence, kindness, and humor provided the help, support, and treatment I needed to start rebuilding. Hypnoacupuncture gave me relief and a new direction: as the acupuncture works on the present anxiety and physical body, the hypnosis works on the future by directing the subconscious mind. Marisa honed in on where I wanted to go next. In this way, she's like the coach you didn't know you needed; a good coach helps you move forward in such a way as to shorten the learning curve. As Marisa brings her top game, she carries her patients along with her. Since receiving treatments, I've learned to reallocate the anxious energy and use it more effectively and productively. I'm back to chasing my goals and dreams in ways I haven't previously. I thank Marisa daily for her talents and her magic.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
