My mother is diabetic with complex medical needs, yet her blood sugar was not monitored during this entire time. She was not given water, ice chips, or IV fluids despite the extended stay. After her initial bloodwork was drawn, we were told it had to be repeated due to compromised samples (a breakdown of her blood cells), which further delayed care. Communication and responsiveness were inconsistent. From an optical standpoint, it looks very bad to see staff members at numerous stations, exchanging in laughter or social dialogue while patients are waiting so long for care. One nurse specifically was dismissive and did not respond appropriately to my mother's needs. She informed us that she was not our assigned patient and her tone was unacceptable. When I respectfully raised concerns and careful not to cause a scene, I was interrupted and dismissed by her walking away from me. It was only after requesting the charge nurse that attention to my mother noticeably improved. Additionally, after the morning shift change, no physician rounded for several hours, leaving us without clarity on updates on the results from the numerous tests she was instructed to take. There also appeared to be lapses in basic safety protocols--my mother was not properly identified as diabetic or flagged with appropriate alerts or wristbands. At this point, we were not aware of what her levels were since she was not monitored for it in efforts to prevent any crisis other than for the reasons she even went to the ER in the first place. While not all staff were unkind, this experience highlighted significant gaps in monitoring, communication, and patient safety that should not occur in an emergency setting--especially for vulnerable patients. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful improvements.

My experience with Dr. Sultan and his team at Mt. Sinai has been nothing short of exceptional…read more Following a breast cancer diagnosis, I was referred to Dr. Sultan by two of New York's top-ranked doctors. Each emphasized his impressive credentials, compassionate patient care, and consistently remarkable outcomes. Their recommendations spoke volumes, but it was only once I experienced his care firsthand that I truly appreciated how dedicated he is not just to healing the body, but to communicating clearly, confidently, and with genuine empathy so you can relax mentally. Dr. Sultan's support began at my very first consultation, and he continued to check in as I moved through the process toward surgery. And, his support didn't end in the operating room, the follow-up was just as thoughtful as the surgical expertise. I was also pleasantly surprised that he made all those calls himself. I told friends and family that it was the most attentive, individualized care I've ever received from any doctor, in any specialty, in my lifetime. The office staff are warm and efficient; every email or question I sent received a quick, thorough response, and scheduling and communication were seamless. Mount Sinai's app was invaluable. It made booking appointments, reviewing records, tracking financial statements, and staying organized so much easier, allowing me to focus on healing instead of logistics. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Sultan, his dedicated team, and the streamlined Mount Sinai system. The combination of world-class surgical skill, attentive care, and genuine compassion made an incredibly difficult time easier, and I am truly thrilled with the results.

He is the most kind, compassionate and professional providers. Dr. Sultan is absolutely the best doctor whose specialty is Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery He also does excellent Botox and his price is extremely reasonable compared to most doctors or "spas. Furthermore, you are receiving Botox from a certified, medical doctor and plastic surgeon (not a dentist or some assistant w/a certificate). The office is beautiful and the staff from the receptionist Darlene to his Medical Assistant Lorraine are amazing. Lorraine is particularly amazing, she always greet you with a smile, follows up with you and works with you regarding scheduling. Lorraine really cares. Dr. Sultan is excellent AND he has a wonderful team behind him. I could not be happier with my results. Just go...run, don't walk.

Not once since I have been coming here for medical issues have I felt that I made the wrong decision regarding my care. I will say that there were times I did not agree or shall I say I was disappointed with the doctor treating me, but that was me just being human. Sometimes we just think doctors can fix everything and have all of the answers and we fail to remember that doctors are just scientists and sometimes just need to deal with the facts of the matter. Now I am sure that not every medical place is perfect but for me I have never had an issue here. As with every doctors office or medical facility you are going to wait. That is the nature of the beast. I would rather wait and have plenty of my time with my doctor than to be pushed thru like a herd of cattle.

The hardest thing about this place is getting an appointment. I travel a lot for work and have limited times when I can schedule an appointment so I usually do so quite far in advance. I know she's booked at least 2 months in advance!! When I needed the egg free flu shot the office was able to find it for me. When I needed an appointment with other providers In the system, the schedulers are always there to help out. A definite recommend.
