We have owned a duplex in CDA for about 15 years that has always needed a new roof. We finally had…read morea good set of tenants on both sides with steady income coming in. It was time to replace the roof that was perilously old after a large windstorm blew off a patch of shingles. Our contractor put in a huge bid, hoping that our insurance company would simply write them a check. Didn't happen. I did an extensive review of roofers in the area and settled on North Idaho Exteriors and one other. Both jumped off of the page. I had solid bids fairly quickly from both companies. Chris Haley reached out to me and sent me all of the information. Chris noted to me that they couldn't get started on it for 3 months but would send a crew out to cover up and patch the exposed area of the roof. A huge help! Wil McGuire called me and let me know that they were going to knock out the roof the next day. I was impressed that they were able to finish the whole project in a day. It makes it much nicer for the tenants. Wil kept me informed of the progress throughout the day with copious photos, videos, and explanations. Sadly, all of our plywood sheeting needed to be replaced as it was very soft and rotting out. There was also a ceiling joist that was in need of repair. The whole tear down and installation was finished within the day. The only downside was the extra cost of the plywood (which I had anticipated). Chris helped me out and matched the other bid that I had received to help soften the blow of the additional cost. The communication process has been amazing. Chris and I have had many very nice conversations (talking about baseball and our kids). Makes it nice when you have a personal connection in addition to the business transaction. Very nice, smooth, and easy transaction with a very high quality, warrantied, roof. I highly recommend!

We recently bought a home that desperately needed a new roof and mold remediation. The mold issue was a huge health concern for us since we have three very young children and I have asthma. It was urgent to get the roof done ASAP, since it had to be completed before they could start on the mold issue. I talked to several roofers in the area and did several bids. North Idaho Exteriors was the only one that was concerned about my family health and willing to re-arrange their schedule to help us out (due to our time crunch). They were very competitive with their bid, had the best warranty, were extremely friendly and professional (unlike most the others I talked to), left the job site clean, did excellent work, and had it all completed in only two days! We are so grateful we found Chris and Jim at Idaho Exteriors! Thank you soooo much!!!

Kyle, Chase, and the whole team-so bad with names sorry you guys-was fantastic from start to finish. Mark came to my home and gave me a very, very fair bid. I had had several bids from other places around town. Yes, there were a couple of places that would have been cheaper but I have seen for myself Classic Flooring's work from my friends and family, and some of this work was from years ago and is outstanding even after years of families, children, and pets scurrying around and doing what they do. I can tell you from my own experience that Classic Flooring is one of a kind. They are professional, experienced, and precise, their workmanship is unlike any other, there are not enough great words or things to say about this company. If you are serious about making a change in your home flooring plans check out Classic Flooring. Floors are pricey and they last for a lot of YEARS to come. It's a place where our children and pets play, run, and grow, we invite our family and friends, and we often invite other guests into our home, it's a place where we eat, sleep, love, and have holidays. Floors are a forever thing to me, my husband, and my children and I would rather choose a fantastic place like Classic Flooring. I recommend them and will for sure go back for my next project. PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING TOBIN: 1 star isn't low…read moreenough. My elderly parents had a small area of their basement that had water come in. This might have been a 4x4 area at MOST. Myself, and my 85 year old father pulled the carpet, removed the carpet pad, and moved one piece of furniture. We had two fans ourselves (one being industrial) that we put in the area, and then called Tobin. They came and supplied a dehumidifier and a couple of fans. Tobin stated that it would be around 900 dollars. Which seemed reasonable because we handled most of the hard items. The following week, the dollar amount was paid in full, and the fans were removed. My father then received a phone call stating that what was just part of the amount. They wanted $2200.00 more! They stated they have two separate departments. One that tears down and one that puts it back together. This is not agreed upon verbally. Then claiming there are two separate departments when this was NOT communicated upon arrival at the house. Their invoicing practice is fraudulent and dishonest. I will NEVER use them again for any business. I recommend ANYONE ELSE in Idaho Falls. Don't bother having the owner respond to this review. Update: Tobin's owner visited homeowner and reduced the bill.
