Absolutely excellent experience. Heutiful vineyard to sit outside. Surrounded by warm sun and lovely open fields. The staff is incredible. Everyone treats you like you are a special guest not one of many customers. Margret the hostess was so kind and caring and looked to make our experience exceptionally. She found us seats outside after our indoor tasting. Bill was knowledgeable Abd fun and we learned lots about the wine we tasted. It's been a while since I felt like I was on vacation and the kindness of the staff made me feel I was in a different world. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious wine. I went on a wine tour that made 3 stops and I must say that RGNY was my favorite stop. For one this place is totally spaced out. The other places were not as spacious, in fact one place was completely packed table to table with not much room in between. We felt very comfortable at RGNY to relax, drink and smoke cigars with no one waiting to grab the table after us. We had 2.5 hours here and probably could had stayed longer. I also appreciate how they provide you with the wine flight and description cards. This gives you the opportunity to drink at your own leisure. The other places have someone come around and pour round after round into your glass. Although it is nice to have a real person to ask questions to the pours were small and the time is forced. At times I felt myself gulping my wine in time to have the next glass. This is a feeling you will not have at RGNY. Most importantly all of the wines were really good. I am not a fam of Rose and I even enjoyed their rose amongst their whites and reds. We ended up buying multiple bottles, some to crack open there and some to take home. There are still a couple more places out on Long Island that I want to try but I will definitely say that I enjoyed RGNY! read more

We went to a private tasting and blending for a 50th birthday celebration and had a great time. Besides the wine being high quality, we were treated well. Our guide, Julianna was delightful and brought us more wine and cheese when we were running low. Two people in our party didn't drink, and they were given some refreshments on the house. To top it all off, they sent us home with a free bottle in light of our upcoming wedding. Overall, the experience was well worth it with friendly employees and amazing hospitality. This used to be Martha Clara and I've never been there for that but this place doesn't make me wonder about it. It's beautiful rustic look inside- you can start inside by the bar and sit down for a flight or wine. Or you can get a table and have table service. There is additional seating outside and plenty of lawn games! You do have to ask for the bags for corn hole outside but it's a great time. If you get hungry, you can order from the delicious food truck! The pizza tastes great and you have many options. We tried the white pizza, plain red sauce, and pepperoni with sausage. All delicious and fresh!! I wish I would have gotten a picture. If it was not for the fact that we had to meet family probably would have stayed longer. This place is kid friendly they have a play area outside and you can even bring your pets if you please. These bottles are beautiful, staff was very friendly, and best part you can take those beautiful wine glasses to remember the tasting. Great place! read more

To all those reading the negative reviews about service and wine quality please listen up...THEY ARE WRONG. The service and conversation that each staff member makes with you is incredible. The wine is great! Yes they are a newer vineyard and are using grapes that have come from recent years rather than years past but that doesn't mean the wine isn't good. Their Viognier, which is not a varietal that most vineyards produce, is on point and is positively delicious. I am not a Chardonnay drinker but they have done theirs to a way that I enjoy and can still appreciate the fact that it is still a Chardonnay. I am also in the process of setting up my wedding there and Erin, the wedding coordinator could not be more sweet and helpful. Always answering my emails and questions in a timely manner. Running down every in and out that my day can hold, as well as making sure we are comfortable with what covid times can and may still consist of. Don't pass this place up if you are in the area! read more

I was very disappointed. I came to enjoy a glass of wine with my boyfriend and was greeted with poor attitudes. I was rudely asked if I had a reservation when I said no I was meet with more attitude. The place was no where near full, we finally were able to convince them to let us get a glass of wine. We stood at a barrel located outside and watched as many tables stayed empty. We also confused by the appearance of the staff. Most of them were in booty shorts and worn out T-shirts, if this is to be a classy winery that needs a reservation you'd think the staff would also dress the part. read more

I paid over $100 for my daughter and I to do the SCIELO in a bottle visit.  I thought our reservation was at 3, but it was at 2.  But, it is a "two hour experience" and we arrived at 2:45, which was still within our two hours. We were asked where we wanted to sit, so we sat outside.  The girl who walked us to our table said that someone would be with us shortly.  After  waiting 15 minutes, no one came over, so my daughter went to find someone.  The same girl came to our table and gave us the choice paper to fill out. Once again we waited another ten minutes for someone to pick it up.  First the bottles of wine were brought out.  One of them was the wrong one.  Everyone else's bottles of wines were in stainless steel coolers - ours was thrown on the table.  Other tables all had water. We were never offered it. The charcuterie board was brought over.  She didn't even tell us what was on it - the type of cheese, the fruits, etc. One your website it says, "A VARIETY OF OUR OWN RECIPES." I do not believe that you need a recipe for a charcuterie board.  It also says "A CHOICE OF SPARKLING WATERS."  We never saw sparkling water, or any type water at our table. Now it is dessert time.  "YOUR CHOICE OF DESSERT." We ordered the churros with caramel sauce.  The churros were undercooked, and there was not caramel sauce left, so she brought us chocolate sauce. This was the end of an horrific experience.  Your website also states, "OPTION FOR GAMES."  We walked over there but none were available. I live on the North Fork, and my daughter visits me frequently to go to wineries.  She has the level two WSET certification and will be taking the Level 3 very soon.  We have been to every winery on both forks except yours since it changed hands.  I do not think we will ever return to your winery.  What a disappointment for us both. I believe my money should be returned, but that is in your hands. read more

You have to go here!!! I only discovered it because I stayed in an Airbnb across the street and it is now my favorite vineyard!!! Amazing wine (you have to try their white merlot) and nice staff. Outside seating is beautiful in the fall. Always so relaxed when I go. And amazing music everyone can sing along too. Just booked my 3rd reservation to come back because I'm always so happy here. After being a member with Martha Clara for so many years I was hesitant to make the change to RG/NY. After stopping in the other day everyone made you feel at home, being completely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Especially Christina ( with the awesome purple hair) who helped us with our tastings. Went here in early August for a birthday celebration and the set up couldn't have been better. Tables are super spread apart, canopies for perfect shade, great wine and cheese, great live music and a friendly staff. I've been going to vineyards for many years and this is now one of my favorites. read more

I went to RGNY with my husband for the first time a few months ago. We really liked their champagne and rose. The bartender gave generous pours on the tastings too. Everyone was very friendly and excited to tell us about the new ownership and winemaker. We're sad that we haven't been able to go back recently; however, they have set up their online shop and we were able to get a few bottles sent to our home. While it's not the same experience as sitting at the vineyard, at least we are able to enjoy some wine!!! read more

The wine was terrible. The tasting was $20, which made matters even worse. We used to come every year when it was Martha Clara, and it was very pleasant and enjoyable. Didn't bother looking at reviews before stopping in this year because we just assumed the quality would be consistent. This was not the case. Several of us tried the wines and we were all quite disappointed and surprised. Do not waste your money. Rude and snobby staff.I was standing around waiting to be sat and was told by a worker I had to wait a few minutes because they have a lot of tables to clean up. I didn't mind waiting to be sat, however, there weren't any tables to be cleaned and the worker I spoke to disappeared like a ghostly apparition. I quit waiting and found a picnic table to sit at in the sun, with no shade or umbrellas. Seating arrangements are disorganized and everything is widely spaced out. They need to add more seats and tables to fill out the open vacancies in the grassy areas! Also, I'd add that the women's bathrooms were unkept and looked like a high school locker room. I think I'd rather relieve myself in Penn Station than RGNY's nasty bathrooms. read more

Service was fine. No hand sanitizer visible. Good outdoor atmosphere. The problem is that the wine was awful. I was in a group of eight and we had flights of wine. Not one of us enjoyed any of the glasses of wine in the flight. Figuring they might use less stellar vintages for flights, we asked for a recommendation of a popular wine on the way out. We've been coming to the north fork for the past ten years and I am sad to say this was the most frustrating tasting we've experienced. We walked into the place and were surprised to see it absolutely deserted. There was not a single person or even a sign telling us where to go. We wandered in and finally found our way outside and the staff- who were pleasant- were happy to give us our table and seat us. We then found out the blending tasting we wanted to do wasn't available. It wasn't an option when we set our reservation online but you have to set it ahead of time or they just won't do it. Ok, fine, whatever. We bought a regular tasting which had very generous pours (the ONLY reason this is a two star instead of less) the wine wasn't great, we've had a lot better but our issue was that the whole experience was frustrating. It's impossible to find their staff for help, there is no signage, even using the restroom was annoying - they limit the restroom to two people for covid reasons but you can't tell if anyone is in there until you are already in there yourself. It took forever for someone to come and get our credit card so we could pay and once we gave them our card we waited another ten minutes for anyone to come back with it. We wanted to get a bottle to take home and finding someone to help with that was another ordeal. It just seemed like they didn't care if we ever came back again and we aren't likely to. read more

I used to visit Martha Clara a minimum of eight times a year plus I WAS a wine member.I never even thought of going anywhere but Martha Clara. I have to say RG what a disappointment. They took a place that was beautiful homey and memorable and turned it into somewhere that I would not return. If you're looking for a good glass of Pinot noir they took Martha's Clara's Pinot noir and turned it into not a glass of wine that you look forward to having. You walk in the front entrance and it feels like you're at raymour and flanigan. Staff wasn't very friendly and the vibe was cold. Very sad I won't be visiting this location any more. read more

My husband and I decided to give RGNY a try this past weekend. We are devoted wine club members of Palmer, so this was new to us. We were thrilled with the wines, the set up, and the service. We got to know our server, Tina, well. She was knowledgeable, and she had a terrific personality. We enjoyed everything about RGNY...so much that we joined their wine club as well. If I could give a negative star rating, I certainly would! This winery was much better when Martha Clara owned the place. Now, with RGNY in charge, the friendly atmosphere has vanished, and been replaced with a negative ambience. The staff is equivalent to badly raised children. They have no manners and lack the proper etiquette required of customer service. We found a nice table with an umbrella near the entrance, and were rudely evicted by scummy employees. My mother in law had to take her cane and limp to further seating with no umbrella, in the middle of the sun. We then tried to be seated for "dining" as they instructed, and they proceeded to jerk us around & avoid seating us at all costs. Excuses were made and the staff disappeared. You're better off driving into piranha filled algae water, than spending a minute at RGNY. This place is worse than Penn Station in Manhattan. read more

RGNY no Martha Clara! So sad that Martha Clara Vineyards is gone, but not forgotten. I miss their customer service and their family friendly atmosphere. I knew it was under new ownership so I tried calling RGNY several times during the week to find out about it and all I could get was a machine. RGNY is not family friendly and they're not shy about it. They're not patron friendly either. This past weekend 10 families got together on a extremely hot and sunny day and the set up for outdoor seating was not comfortable. There were picnic benches with no umbrellas anywhere for shade. Why would they keep seating outside if they didn't want patrons to be comfortable especially if there are infants and small children with their parents? No staff came out to the tables for food /drink orders . RGNY didn't care if patrons enjoyed the day outside with their families while spending good money at their venue. RGNY is more like a bar/restaurant than having a vineyard vibe. I guess the new owners at RGNY just wants you to get a babysitter, eat, drink and get out! There's plenty of other vineyards. Spend your money elsewhere. read more
