I'm recovering from surgery and physically unable to handle the lawn myself. With weeds getting out of control, I was depending on them to follow through , especially since we're at risk of a visit from code enforcement. After they received our payment, Big Ed's completely disappeared. No job done. No refund. No responses to multiple follow-ups. This is not just unprofessional; this is a scam. Mike is the person you deal with for issues with plants and he couldn't be more nasty. He even admitted to me they knowingly sold me hundreds of dollars of trees two days before they announced a 50% off everything sale and said wouldn't you do the same in your line of work. My boyfriend went in and the man he worked with was also miserable and nasty. They were paid in full totaling $1749.45 as of 09/05/2025. They did not "complete" the job until June 1st, 2026. However, the job has not been completed, nor have parts of it been done to a satisfactory level. They still have yet to return to install edging at the street level. They did not spray herbicide at all, or lay down enough landscaping fabric. The grass and weeds are sprouting all over the lawn already. It has barely been a week since "completion" and I have once again had to invest my time and money trying to eliminate greenery that should be dead and gone at this point.
