Our project was extensive--he handled moving utilities, prepping for cabinets and countertops, installing appliances and new lighting, relocating a large kitchen window, drywall, and installing brand new engineered hardwood flooring. He also retiled our fireplace, built a new mudroom, and relocated our laundry room with new machine installs. Every aspect of his work was top-notch. I work with vendors and contractors all the time in my profession, and Servando was by far one of the easiest and most professional people I've worked with. He communicated clearly and effectively throughout the entire project, was always on time, and kept the worksite extremely clean and organized. One thing I especially appreciated was that if I gave him information or directions that didn't seem quite right, he wouldn't just blindly move forward--he would ask thoughtful questions to make sure we were making the best decision possible. That level of communication and attention to detail made a huge difference and really helped ensure the project came out perfectly. Another thing that stood out was how honest and straightforward he was with pricing. There were no surprise change orders, no ballooning costs, and no unexpected price increases that we weren't aware of ahead of time. If something was going to cost more, he clearly communicated it upfront and explained why. It was incredibly refreshing to work with someone who made us feel like he genuinely cared about the project instead of trying to take advantage of it financially. Any time we had questions or minor concerns, he stayed calm, listened, and worked with us to come up with the best solution. His pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the quality of work. In fact, the only regret I have is not awarding him the cabinets and countertops portion of the job. We went with a cheaper bid from another company to save a couple thousand dollars, and it turned into a nightmare. Servando was the complete opposite experience.
