He took the time to explain everything and answer my (many) questions without ever making me feel stupid or like I was being "sold". He didn't just show up in person for the initial sale and then disappear, but was up there on the roof with the insurance adjuster to make sure they didn't try to cheap out on me, came back again on the day the roof was replaced, and again once more to make sure I was happy with the work. Josh works with the same crew regularly and they did an excellent job, finishing the whole thing in one day. They took reasonable care not to damage plants or anything else while removing the old roof and did a thorough job cleaning up after, even going over the surrounding area with a giant magnet to catch stray nails. And I didn't have to pay anything until the job was complete. It's easy to see why Premier (yellow/black logo--don't confuse with the out-of-town company with the blue logo) was recommended by my former State Farm agent. Not sure why so many other positive, seemingly legit reviews are being held hostage in the "not recommended" jail, but be sure to scroll all the way down and read those to get the full picture. Like every company, there were a few hiccups. They forgot some wire mesh on a small rodent-intrusion repair we did a few months back, and didn't get back out to add it for several weeks. BUT, the thing that makes All Star different from so many other companies is their insistence on apologizing (sincerely), promising to do better, and fixing the problem. There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. Blackhill is currently in the process of replacing the roofs in my apt complex and they literally had a sloppiest job site I've ever seen, shingles all over the place, tar paper blowing around the complex and untold roof tacks / nail left for residence and pets to step on. Workers just drop trash where they stand, lunch trash just left laying around would it too much to ask to go to Home Depot and buy some garbage cans? I would also check your liability insurance before hiring them, the units in my complex are 3 stories with vaulted ceilings but only 1/2 of the workers are in safety harnesses, the rest are running around the roofs in sneakers and straw hats...All the roofing debris is just dropped off the roof yet not a single person on the ground is wearing a hard hat or safety glasses... They are plugging extension cords into residents porch outlets which increases the residents electric bill.....Now here is the real kicker, I'm not sure if he's the site foreman, team lead, owners son but they have a worker who's about 100lbs over weight so there is no physical way he's climbing a ladder so he just waddles around the complex, one days he's sleeping in the crane they use to move some of the trash off the roofs, next day he's sitting in the shade of the dog park howling at the workers up on the roof while there is a tone of trash blowing around.....I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure it would do him some good to take a garbage can and walk around the complex picking up trash.....Again, this may be a Texas thing but it's just shocking how they conduct business.

2 years ago I called my insurance company to inquire on how to go about getting the roof inspected…read morefor hail damage. They referred us to Blue Sky Roofing and someone came out promptly, inspected the roof, and efficiently communicated with the insurance company that there wasn't any damage. Really appreciated the prompt and professional service at that time. Recently we noticed a leak in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms and since it was alongside the wall where a shower is located we called a plumber first. $250 later, we were told there wasn't any pipes leaking, however, pictures showed dried water spots and discoloration on the insulation which indicated a possible roof leak. I contacted the company that installed the roof in 2019 (Barker Roofing) and they STILL have yet to respond. Also made an a call to Blue Sky Roofing and Jesse got back with me that evening to schedule time to come out to do a free inspection. He was able to come out even sooner than we were available and was very flexible in getting the appointment scheduled. On the day of the appointment, Jesse arrived on time and took a look at where the ceiling where the leak occurred. He then proceeded to go to the roof and said that hopefully it is something he could repair the same day without a fee. That is exactly what he did! He took pictures of the location where he found a staple that should not have been there and he rubber cemented it saying it should last for the life of the roof. He was proactive in taking a look at some other areas where sealant should not have been showing any wear for such a new-ish roof. He rubber cemented those as well at no charge. Jesse was knowledgable and we appreciated his "neighborly" attitude of helping to fix something small that could have turned into something big. And most importantly doing honest business and fixing another company's negligence. When it does come time to replace our roof, the first and last call we'll make is Blue Sky Roofing!

Blue Sky Roofing delivered excellent service and higher-quality roofing materials at a better price…read morethan several other roofing companies we explored both through our insurance carrier and our own independent research. The installers were a team made up largely consisting of brothers and their close friends / family. They worked beautifully and happily together, showing up each morning at 7 a.m. and leaving when it became too dark. They worked without ceasing except for a short lunch break together. I appreciated their attention to safety and observed they always wore harnesses. Our yard, HVAC and delicate plants and trees were protected by tarps and temporary wooden "shelters" prior to commencement of work. Their heavy equipment and trailers were based upon heavy tires (not metal points that destroy driveways). Cleanup afterward was very thorough and attention was also given to the side yards of our neighbors. The sales representative, Blake Andrews, was present frequently throughout the procedure, climbing the roof, walking around, taking pictures and communicating with us about progress each day. The roofing crew obviously like and trust him. I could not be more pleased with this excellent company, their conscientious workers and professional behavior before, during and after this event.
