Walang sistema and parang may sariling mundo waiters/servers dito. Nag upgrade nga ng interior at ginawang air conditioned na but the service remains consistently bad. The thing with their barbeque is that it's both cheap AND satisfying. The chunks of pork on the stick are decently bite sized. I'd say it's probably 65% pork and 35% stick. They definitely don't skimp on the meat. Two sticks is good enough for a decent meal. And I wouldn't say it's overcooked but it's definitly not at all on the cardboardy side which is really something I appreciate. The flavors are all there. They're rich and bright and not at all overwhelming. Definitely good barbecue. Pork not your thing? There's fish and chicken and squid and longanisa too. But it does take a bit for your food to get to you though. If I'd hazard a guess, I'd probably say it was because they cook it the minute you order it so... maybe it isn't a bad thing? Personally, I always thought good food was always worth the wait.

I've finally found the restaurant that offers the best value for money! Their fall-off-the-bone…read moreribs are excellent, and for only Php275 for a serving? How awesome is that? The sauce is also quite different from the other sauces I've tried (in a good way). Slightly sweet and not overwhelming, you can add as many sauce as you like without affecting the flavor of the ribs. Each serving of ribs is good for two to three people. Their sampler consisting of bacon and cheese potato skins, fried cheese, and buffalo wings, all with dips offers variety without the steep price. A good choice if you want to try multiple dishes in smaller quantities. Their chocolate milkshake is also not bad. Will definitely try the huuuuge Milky Way Shake on my next visit!

It's like a dream house! We arrived late, prolly around 9pm, but the place was still abuzz with diners: families, friends, colleagues, etc. We tried a variety of savory dishes namely bacon & cheese potato skins, fried cheese, buffalo wings, the Count of Monte Cristo sandwich, and Brian's ribs. The first 3 are their best-selling appetizers, and I totally understand why. Even without their respective dips/sauces, they tasted great, especially the wings & potato skins! It was my first time to encounter a Monte Cristo sandwich, which has turkey, ham, and American cheese. They are inside battered and fried white bread, dusted with powdered sugar and best eaten with raspberry jam. I'm kind of torn about this because it's so sinfully good! I find the battered bread a bit thick, though. Finally, the ribs were tender and seasoned just right. They came with peppery mashed potatoes and corn-carrots (these were kind of salty instead of buttery, though). For our drinks, we had 4 kinds of milkshakes: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and the mother of them all - the humongous Milky Way! I love how thick the whipped cream was, it's like cake icing already! The Milky Way is meant for 3-4 people or 1 chocolate addict. We continued our sugar rush with matcha ice cream cake, Bliss o' Berry cheesecake, and macchiato (?) ice cream cake. My favorite's the matcha because hey, it's matcha!!! A close second is the berry cheesecake, which has a subtle citrus-y flavor that doesn't taste like medicine. Coffee lovers would enjoy the macchiato ice cream cake for sure. Overall, it was such a great experience, accompanied by great ambiance and awesome company. Can't wait to go back with other friends! :D I have my eyes on their burgers and pastas!

All the food is just seasoned and grilled. Good for your soul, no hassle, cheap pricing, just the taste of fire and good, high fiber ingredients. Food choices consist of meat and vegetables. We ordered chicken, sausage, eggplants, squash, tomatoes, broccoli, okra, mushroom, and corn. Everything tasted wonderful and the only thing that saddened me was that they ran out of onions. The only way this meal could be better is with grilled onions. Very solid and amazing food made with simplicity.

My friend was the one who invited me to try out Shao Kao. I didn't know what to expect at first. The moment I saw it, I immediately noticed the wooden picket fence surrounding the restaurant. It was an outdoor grillery. The first time I went there, I decided to order their famous grilled lamb chops and vegetables. Everything was just delicious. The lamb chops were juicy and tender, while the grilled vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. I don't usually eat vegetables, but Shao Kao made me love it. The mixture of fresh spices used to season the dish was just perfection. Shao Kao (for me) is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Maginhawa.
