The food truck is outside of a buisness suits building. They have a perfect spot! Their parked on the main road and the tree gives their truck tons of shade. 2 signs are visible if your passing by. Love that they have a tv a table for a quick bite. I wish I can order everything on their menu. I ordered a torta (birra) & 2 birra tacos carne a safe with everything. 3 sauces available to easily take with you. Consome dip which was amazing. The tacos were so flavorful and my veggies were so yummy! Love their atmosphere from there genuine staff.
For a second there I thought they gave me carnitas. Birria comes very smooth, tender, and not game-y at all! I was prepared for a slight game-y like most birria tacos do, but was caught off guard by the clean and tasty meat they have. It's so good that I immediately ordered burrito to go. If you like birria tacos, or you have been wanting to try birria but you are wary with the 'stink', then this is the place to 'pop' the proverbial cherry. And that salsa! What a bold salsa. I thought it was going to be a sorry excuse of 'spicy' like most taco places (even the good ones[!]), but this one packed the goat's last kick, so to speak. Dear mr. goat, much respect to your sacrifice for us to be able to enjoy this delightful dish.
Family from AZ stops at this truck every time passing through. Family run and great people. Birria is full of flavor and tacos are perfect crispy. So good the family brought Tupperware to take home carne and consume. Look for the little Red Truck curbside.
Had tacos from here yesterday and they were very good! I work in the area so I got the combo with the consomé. Be careful with the hot sauce because man it was SPICY! overall good prices and good food
Tried this taco truck for the first time. The tacos dorados with consomé were amazing. Very delicious. They have plenty of meat and not greasy at all. Their opening hours says 8:30. We got there a little early and we had to wait until 9 or so. The service was excellent and fast. Recommend this location. It's also affordable $6.95 for 2 tacos dorados with consomé. Las aguas frescas were good too.
I've been waiting to try this place forever. I finally did today and it didn't disappoint. I went around 135pm on a Saturday. There were four people in front of me waiting for their food but they shelled it out pretty quick. The lady at the register was friendly and efficient. I live 10mins from the truck so my food sat for a bit before I could enjoy it. I know if I ate it there, the taco shells would have been crunchier but dang, even with it being softer, it still tasted bomb diggity. So... I googled this type of meat and I think it's goat. I never verified and I'm open to trying all types of meat so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I had the two dorado tacos plus consume & a quesadilla. Tacos: I tried to dip it like the cool folks that just had the stuffing fall into the soup. I'm just not cool like that. So, I ended up just drinking it like a broth. It was super yummy. The quesadilla was so so good. Nicely cooked soft tender meat. Melted cheese. Cilantro and onion. With the spicy orange sauce it was simply amazing. My 3 year old enjoyed it too. What's not to love about this place? Next time I'll be sure to eat it fresh out of the truck. I bet the experience is even better. Yum yum!
Heard good things about this truck, so had to try it out!! I tried the birria cheese burrito! It was good but I think the reviews got my hopes too high. Maybe If there were to have better salsas I would've enjoyed it more. I feel like next time I'll try their tacos! When i went there was no one line. It was fast and the workers were really nice. Was washing my clothes at the near by laundry mat like most people that go here I believe, as this truck is the closest thing walking distance for food. First time doing the walk to this food truck, the menu looks nice but definitely expensive in my opinion, probably the most expensive tacos I have ever paid for, total plus the use of a card came out to $11. For 3 tacos. A good amount of meat in them, Birria, 2 tortillas each taco. No flavor in the meat. I had the first taco with nothing to taste it as it is and it was bland. Their green salsa is like many other taco spots. Good flavor. Overall it's just too expensive and next time I'm hungry I'll just suck it up and wait till I get home.
The Mrs. and I had lunch at Red Tacos Rey de la Birria today. Actually, we took our beach chairs and sat on the grass. When the Mrs. told me we were going to a taco truck, nay wagon, in Buena Park I must admit I was intrigued. The wagon is parked roughly on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Commonwealth. There are signs at said intersection pointing guiding you to the location and believe me, you can't miss it. You can park your car in the office building parking lot. When we arrived, there was another couple sitting in the parking lot enjoying their food. The Mrs. and I ordered the same thing which was 2 Tacos Dorados with Consome Chico. A bargain at $6.95. You'll find a beautiful picture of the tacos and consume on the side of the wagon. The tacos were easy to handle and had great flavor. Also, they weren't dripping with grease. The shells are red and grilled to perfection. Biting into the tacos you'll get a crunch, the flavor of the taco shell itself, and then the burst of flavor from the meat, onion and cilantro. I didn't add any salsa to mine. The Mrs. added red salsa to hers and just about burned her lips off. The console was rich. You didn't even have to taste it to know. The aromas of cumin and onion swimming together in a spicy warm broth grabs your senses. I think if Red Tacos Rey de la Birria had a brick and mortar location, it wouldn't be the same. The flavors would get lost and it would just be another taco joint. Credit cards are accepted for those of you who don't carry cash. I suggest bringing your own chairs if you're going to eat your food on location. Small stools are provided, but I think they'd be killer on your back.
We were dropping the kids off at Knott's berry farm and were looking for lunch. Excellent place for birria tacos . I got the special - 2 birria tacos with small consome. I added pickled onions on mine from the salsa station. The small consome is enough for a couple to share FYI. Two tacos was enough for a lunch but if you have a bigger appetite maybe add some thing else. They have Vampiro's or mulitas. They are set up near a business center and on a Sunday there was plenty of parking in the shade. They have plastic chairs available for use while eating. You can take them by your car. The order came fast and the food was delish- highly recommend! Conveniently located near the 5 and 91 freeways Quite area for a romantic date or bring the whole family.
These are the best tacos around hands down. And they're only 2.45 a taco! Meat is delicious and tender and the consumme has some of the best flavor I've had. Would highly recommend!
Never had these types of tacos. I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT!!!! Everything is soo good. Highly suggest the birria tacos with cosome. They have a two tacos deal for like 7 bucks. They do take card so dont worry about not having cash. Service was super amazing!! The guy was so nice. Even though i ordered a lot of food and knew I would have to wait for my order he apologized to me and even gave me a free come. Superb service i was not expecting that and was in shock. Again i ordered A LOT, so i was more than understanding that I would have to wait. Going to be coming back here often!!

I know if I ate it there, the taco shells would have been crunchier but dang, even with it being softer, it still tasted bomb diggity. So... I googled this type of meat and I think it's goat. I never verified and I'm open to trying all types of meat so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I had the two dorado tacos plus consume & a quesadilla. Tacos: I tried to dip it like the cool folks that just had the stuffing fall into the soup. I'm just not cool like that. So, I ended up just drinking it like a broth. It was super yummy. The quesadilla was so so good. Nicely cooked soft tender meat. Melted cheese. Cilantro and onion. With the spicy orange sauce it was simply amazing. My 3 year old enjoyed it too. The picture doesn't do it justice! Soooooo delish! We went at the last few minutes they were open, thinking eh probably going to be getting the leftovers from the day and not be good. But we figured let's try it anyways . We were so wrong! The TACOS WERE SO FRESH! Cooked right in front of you. We ordered 8. Thinking these were small tacos. Wrong again. Huge pile of meat on the tacos . Covered with onions and cilantro and they have pickled purple onion on the side to add. The salsa is super spicy but really good! Get the cup of broth to dip your tacos in you won't regret it!!!! We def be going back! I wish they were open later in the evening only downside but wow ! Hidden gem in Buena Park. You can't find tacos like this anywhere else around here unless your willing to drive out to Santa Ana. Must try read more

These tacos are amazing !!!. The birria meat itself is perfection. Well seasoned and finely cooked. The tacos dorados were a big satisfaction and finding them here in buena park is a gem. You usually have to drive out to LA for tacos this good. I got two salsas with my order. Green salsa which is perfect for a mild taste and it really compliments the consomé. The red salsa is very spicy and it helps you get rid of anger lol . But both salsas were great. The pickled onions were good although not enough for the tacos but amazing. What else can i say about this place except they are great and service is good. Very attentive to customers. Will be a regular from now on. read more

Everything they make is AMAZING! If driving through the are - stop here! Look for the red taco truck and eat under a shady tree! We ordered burritos, tostadas, quaso tacos and the original red taco that you dip in the most incredible broth ever! My family ate it so quick this was the only picture I could take! If you're looking for some bomb.com tacos de birria y consume this place is it! Get yourself the tacos dorados and consume chico special. The flavors are on point plus they give you a side of homemade habanero sauce to add that fire . The tortillas are fried but not too hard or too soft. The tacos stay together well when dipped in the consume (soup like sauce). And they serve you a good amount of birria topped with fresh onions and cilantro. They park outside Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park Thursday - Sunday. Come early, they have been known to sell out of birria as early as 1 pm some days!!! Brand new business! Come support your local small business. This will become the hot spot for tacos de birria y consume in the OC!! read more

If you didn't look for this place, you'd drive right passed it. It's a little gem, hidden in the cut. I don't support businesses that make people wear masks. This place doesn't make you wear one. I love freedom. Who doesn't? Well, there are some giving up their freedom so willingly. Sad actually. Anyway, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. A food truck that parks on Beach Blvd. and offers some good beef birria. We ordered the vampiro, mulita, and tacos with consommé. They were all chock full of tender, shredded birria, onions and cilantro. The tacos come with a cup of consommé that they will add beef to by request. They offer pickled red onions, sliced radishes, limes and a red and green hot sauce. The red hot sauce packs a big punch, so go with the green sauce if spice is not your thing. Everyone was happy with the food and we can't wait to try the nachos and pizza next time! read more
