Look I get the location is bad but now all they have are self checkouts. And when I needed a bag they brought me a $2.78 bag. Insulting as I am disabled because of ON healthcare. Now unable to walk properly for the fifth time and still paying for most of my healthcare after losing my job in BC when I was having difficulty walking.

Despite being short staffed and it being a holiday, the pharmacy staff went above and beyond to fill my inhaler prescription today, so I didn't have to wait. I didn't realize how bad my breathing had become until I attempted the normally 5 minute walk to the store! One dose and I'm already breathing better. So, thank you. You all deserve a medal and a giant pay raise for the work you do, under increasingly difficult circumstances these days in healthcare.

Recently, I went in to buy a few personal items and was happy to see the prices were lower than other larger pharmacies and it also carried the name brands I was looking for. Most importantly is the friendly, professional staff which made me decide to transfer my prescriptions over to this store. It is so refreshing to pick up my prescriptions within 10 minutes rather than being told that I must return within an hour like the one I was previously using. I highly recommend this pharmacy and will not go back to the larger chains where I never get quality service!

I was looking for somewhere to test my blood pressure to help determine whether at 7 months…read morepregnant, I am possibly suffering from the onset of preeclampsia- a common but potentially very dangerous pregnancy condition. Peoples on Shelbourne was the closest available option w/ a blood pressure monitor. When we walked in the counter person recognized the friend that I was with and informed him that an item he had previously inquired about was now in stock. This in itself shows superb customer service but it was what came next that throughly impressed me. The pharmacist offered me a chair and some water and explained that in order to get a proper reading I needed to take 20 min and let this second super fancy machine that he had led me to (and away from the regular one) take a total of 6 readings. Basically he pampered me- a filling me in on what he knew about preeclampsia while we waited for the average reading to finish. I felt like the staff at People's Pharmacy went out of there way to go above and beyond. The results of my bp test were, thankfully, very low and therefore negative for preeclampsia but I wanted to write a review to give the staff the recognition I think that they deserve! I mean we didn't even buy anything and yet we were given total V.I.P. treatment!
