The items themselves are a mix of current season and previous seasons items, and the nice thing about this Outlet is that the items are no different from the retail stores, they really are just items that have not sold in store and end up in the outlet as discounts at the back. Some outlets have their own line of cheaper items and that's not the case with Fossil. I have purchased many items from this store - things I need, and things I don't need but want. When you walk in not only is the store immaculate it is so well organized / categorized and color coordinated. It does not look or fe el like a typical consignment store. You walk in and the energy is so positive and uplifting and it's like you are walking into an upscale boutique. I wouldn't be surprised if you walk around with your jaw on the ground with how basically brand new these clothes are but the prices are amazing as well. And on top of that everything was 50% off the ticketed price. I take great offense to businesses thinking they are entitled to keep MY money and/or tell me how to spend it, (e.g. in their store). The fact that the policy is written/buried in the fine print at the very bottom of the receipt (who reads receipts until after-the-fact anyway???) furthers my impression of being baited without warning. Frankly, I find this practice off putting and a very bad look for a small town business. I absolutely will not be spending any more of my money at Jade and Laney, nor will I recommend that anyone I know shop there because of this policy.

The staff always seem super busy, running here there and everywhere adding or moving clothes around, or helping other customers. I find it difficult to get anything accomplished in this store. They do still have some good deals, and on the days that I have the patience to go in, I have had good service and and found a couple items I really like. The store is nice and bright inside, the clothes are displayed nicely, but I do find the cash register "cube" in the middle of the store to be a little awkwardly placed. If the store is busy, it's a bit difficult to navigate around that area - I realize it's a corner store so they have probably made the most of the space, but there is one clothing rack that just out from the wall could be removed to fairly easily solve this problem.
