It's a tiny pharmacy, with just one staff member, they mostly fill prescriptions, but they do sell a handful of non prescription items. They are currently expanding and I believe will actually have a doctor on location. The pharmacist is great, he always remembers my name and gets anything I need ready in a matter of minutes. If they don't have it in stock, they bring it in that same day. The customer service is excellent. So if you're looking for a pleasant place to get prescriptions filled this is definitely the place I would suggest.

They have literally the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. No one is taking responsibility for this. Last time I checked, this was considered fraud. Once I did a bit more research, I found out that Shopper's is one of the worst places to buy gift cards from as this happens often and no one has received their money back. She has to be one of the rudest person in that store. I see and hear her cutting of costumers and raising her voice to us when she is busy. As a costumer I do not know when you are in a bad mood or busy. She is vocal when letting a customer know she's not in a happy place. This women needs to go and find a different job.

I arrived at this location tonight at around 9:30pm, an hour and a half before closing. It took me…read moreten minutes to get what I needed, so I walked past all the closed non-self checkouts to the one register that was still open, as indicated by the green light. There was an attendant there talking to another behind the next cash, which was closed, as indicated by the red light. When I went to start unbagging my groceries, I was told to go to the self checkout, which was swamped. I told the cashier that I didn't want to wait in that long line for the few things I had, and that I don't work for free. I was then again told that they were closing (which doesn't happen until 11pm, over an hour later.), and that I should go to the self checkout if I wanted my groceries. Staying as calm as I could, I explained to the cashier that there should be at least one checkout lane open as long as the store is open, and I received a pair of blank stares from both cashiers. So I dumped my groceries out in the checkout lane and left. I'm no Karen to go asking to talk to the manager, and it took a great deal of restraint not to just walk out with my groceries to make my point. I rarely visit this location due to it's terrible service, and I will not be back unless they have one hell of a sale on something I need.

I shop at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart a couple times a month. Usually because I have run out…read moreof grapefruit juice (which I need to take with a medication) and they're one of the two pharmacies within driving distance to my house that carries this particular juice. Tonight, the juice was $5.99 which is a little steep, but I'm used to paying that much for it at Shoppers so, that's fine. What I took exception to was the full price juice with an expiry date within the same week ( i.e. good until December 10). It takes me two weeks to go through 2 L of juice, therefore only half of it was going to be consumed by the best before date. I asked the cashier (who was very polite) if they could check and see if there was juice with a better freshness date - and if not, if it could be discounted. He phoned his supervisor....No and no. I told him that that's fine but I want them to know they lost a pretty good customer because of their non customer-centric policy. What I didn't mention (because it was only the cashier I spoke with) - every time I walk into their store I walk out with about $60-$80 typically worth of products but I'll be taking future business to Rexall from now on. I prefer Shoppers to Rexall (because of selection) but Rexall excels in customer service and I have no doubt this would have been handled differently by Rexall (they would have discounted it by 50% and apologized for the oversight because old juice should automatically be discounted).
