I'm lucky that this Kaneohe Branch is associated with her Waipahu location because I needed to deposit money into her account for her Real Estate Taxes. Uhg. It was an unexpected expense. It's good that I went through her mail and found the bill before the due date... LOL! Anyway, this Kaneohe location has a free parking lot with a rather narrow driveway. The interior is nicely air-conditioned, clean, and spacious. After the deposit, I wasn't able to get the balance because only my aunty can get that information. I just wanted to be extra sure that she had enough money in her account to cover the check to the City... The receipt didn't show her balance. Oh, well...

Rowena forwarded us to loan officer Matt, to help us finance our home. Initially, we planned to buy in 1-2 years, but we made it happen in less than 2 months. I met with Matt and got a pre-approval on the same day (in less than 2 hours.) While sitting in the waiting area while he was with his client before me, I found a property online and texted it to my realtor asking about it. We toured the property that same evening, and made an offer the next day. All done within 24 hours, and all thanks to Matt, Rowena and Jay. With their guidance, we submitted an offer and even beat out a higher offer. Our offer got accepted in the following week. Some call it crazy, but I say it's all in God's perfect timing. Matt, Rowena and Jay made it happen for us. I mean it when I say we couldn't have done it without them. They went above and beyond to make sure our first home buying process went quickly (really really quickly) and smoothly. Matt sure we had all our sh*t together, and our transaction was perfect! I was super nervous that it wouldn't happen, but he reassured me that we would get through the transaction without a hitch. One of my favorite things is that he is easy to talk to and relatable. He even gave me some financial advice to alleviate my debts which made a big difference in my monthly bills.
