From day one, Bradley, along with our realtor, guided us every step of the way and made what felt overwhelming feel manageable and clear. He took the time to run numbers, explain scenarios, and lay out all of our options so we could make informed decisions that felt right for us. He truly did all the legwork, allowing us to focus on reviewing and signing paperwork with confidence. His office was equally wonderful--communication was seamless, emails were prompt, and every question or follow-up was handled quickly and thoroughly. We were especially grateful for his flexibility and dedication. He even met with us on Christmas Eve to sign paperwork, which we deeply appreciated, and despite the busyness of the holiday season, he consistently kept us updated on the status of everything. Beyond his expertise, he is incredibly friendly, personable, and easy to work with. We felt supported from beginning to end and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend his services to anyone navigating the home-buying process.

My aunty has her account at the Waipahu branch of American Savings Bank. I'm lucky that this Kaneohe Branch is associated with her Waipahu location because I needed to deposit money into her account for her Real Estate Taxes. Uhg. It was an unexpected expense. It's good that I went through her mail and found the bill before the due date... LOL! Anyway, this Kaneohe location has a free parking lot with a rather narrow driveway. The interior is nicely air-conditioned, clean, and spacious. After the deposit, I wasn't able to get the balance because only my aunty can get that information. Six times! That is how many times I had to re-file due to various incompetence and basic errors…read morethe Other banks and Other loan officers made that confused the underwriters to deny me the loan. I had 840 credit score, zero debt, no mortgage, but being self-employed meant that just a little effort was going to be necessary between loan officer and underwriter... but I guess minimal effort is to much to ask for and thus a year was wasted.... and then I met Ian. I so wish I had met Ian a year ago! Not only did Ian get it done. Ian got it done well and in a minimal amount of time. Other loan officers: Pretended to care but when it came to doing ANYTHING that required them to exert the basic of effort it was oblivious I was just a number to them. If I did not babysit them or keep up on them, my file would just be further down the pile and progress would not happen. Often they would forget or not pay attention to critical details. I cannot tell you how many times I felt like I was having to do their job for them. Ian: It is overtly obvious that he cares. Every step of the way Ian exuded his passion and desire to always do whatever it takes to make sure things are done right the first time, they are done thoroughly and done professionally well. It is obvious he has a healthy pride for his work and excited to help get you your loan. Other loan officers: Difficult to get ahold of. There were times it would be a week or two before I would get a response after leaving emails and phone messages. Ian: Often would answer right when I call or would immediately respond with "Get right back with you soon." And he would!! I know he is busy, I know he has many other clients and files on his desk but I was always treated like I was his only client and he was there to give me 110% each time, every call, each text, email.... and he always knew every detail of my loan situation. Other loan officers: Often left me wondering if they knew how to do their job or even understood their job. It was more than obvious they did not care. I was just a file on their desk. Ian: By the time I met Ian, I was like the beaten dog in the corner with a bit of a snarl... Ian was patient. Ian took his time. Ian, with grace and ease, calmed my stresses and concerns. He remained supportive to my need to triple check things at times or question his progress due to the past experiences. Ian is confident and competent and left me each time knowing my loan was in great hands. I knew at times I was an impatient pain in the ass. More than once I apologized to Ian. Every time, Ian genuinely assured me that it was not an issue at all and remained understanding and patient the entire way often reexplaining things to me for the umpteenth time until the answers to my questions finally sank in. Not once, not ever, did I feel him frustrated or regret taking on my need for a loan. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Every call, every email, every text... all I felt from Ian was his gratitude for me being his client... eh.. I think I should correct that and say friend. He always treated me with respect and that he was genuinely happy to work with me. He was open and listened on a few bumpy days and he always remained positive and supportive. It was clear that he was determined to make sure he was able to get me a best loan possible in as short amount of time as possible. And he did just that. I got a great loan and now have a good friend that also happens to be a loan officer. I am confident with putting my name and reputation behind referring you to Ian. I can continue... do you need to hear more? I can share a ton more if you are still on the fence that having Ian on your side helping you with your loan will be the smartest thing you can do.  If you do need more convincing, reach out to Ian and he will connect us. I will gladly answer all your questions/concerns so you know having Ian do your loan is the best decision to make right now.

The whole process took just 43 days!! My sister in law had recommended our Rowena Wong, as I told her we were interested in purchasing our first home. Rowena forwarded us to loan officer Matt, to help us finance our home. Initially, we planned to buy in 1-2 years, but we made it happen in less than 2 months. I met with Matt and got a pre-approval on the same day (in less than 2 hours.) While sitting in the waiting area while he was with his client before me, I found a property online and texted it to my realtor asking about it. We toured the property that same evening, and made an offer the next day. All done within 24 hours, and all thanks to Matt, Rowena and Jay. With their guidance, we submitted an offer and even beat out a higher offer. Our offer got accepted in the following week. Some call it crazy, but I say it's all in God's perfect timing. Matt, Rowena and Jay made it happen for us. I mean it when I say we couldn't have done it without them. They went above and beyond to make sure our first home buying process went quickly (really really quickly) and smoothly. Matt sure we had all our sh*t together, and our transaction was perfect! I was super nervous that it wouldn't happen, but he reassured me that we would get through the transaction without a hitch. One of my favorite things is that he is easy to talk to and relatable. He even gave me some financial advice to alleviate my debts which made a big difference in my monthly bills. I also appreciated Matt staying late hours to meet with us after we were done with work, and not minding bringing our baby to the office. If you asked me a year ago, I would not have think it would be possible to own our own home in 2019, but yet, here we are! I will definitely recommend House of Finance for anyone looking to buy or refinance their home.
