This place is actually called Royal Printing or Royal Fingerprinting (he does both printing and…read morefingerprinting). I needed to be fingerprinted (Livescan, $65) so that I could apply to be a substitute teacher in Southeast Michigan. I went here because it was close to my house and open on Saturday. It's a bit hard to find because it's in a white residential-looking building That is retrofitted for many small office spaces and the sign out front is small and cluttered. There is a cozy little lobby when you walk in and Shajan's office is to the right, down the hall. He is welcoming and made me feel confident that he knew exactly what he was doing because he has done a lot of fingerprinting, especially for Edustaff. Never having been fingerprinted, it was a little awkward but Shajan Walked me through the process and it was fast and easy and kind of interesting too! Also, I enjoyed talking to him. (He was an IT instructor in India!) A nice guy. highly recommend!

This was my first visit here and I needed some legal size copies made. The store manager said it…read morewould be about 10 minutes before her copier was ready to use. I told her I could come back rather than wait. She suggested I use the self serve copiers. Being I had never been to a FedEx store, I had no idea how to use one. She said she'd walk me through it, so I gave it a try. Other customers had walked in after me, so she was waiting on them as she kept an eye on how I was doing from behind her counter. She took me step by step through the process and after all was said and done, it was pretty easy. I noticed that management follows the appropriate protocol for Covid with spacers on the floor, supplying hand sanitizer, using clear coverings on the copy machine control panels, asking people to social distance and supplying masks in case you come in without one, which was what happened with me. In my haste after a hectic morning, I accidentally left mine in the car. I was happy to get in and out so quickly because her business was picking up with multiple people walking in as I was walking out. All in all, a good experience on a simple copy job.

Steve and the company created both obituaries for my grandparents who passed away 13 days apart…read more We've never had to get obituaries printed before, and we had a tight turnaround, but Steve was very understanding, flexible, and produced great programs for their funerals. I was impressed by how easy the form was to fill out online (to let him know exactly what we were looking for). He was willing to meet me at Starbucks to pickup the order and then the second time around, he surprised us and delivered the obituaries straight to our door. This is a great business and I would rather order from a small business that leads with compassion and care than a large company any day. Thank you Steve and Discount Printing for making a hard and dark time a bit easier to navigate.

Just like my buddy Aubrey Graham aka Drake, I too have trust issues. Specifically trust issues…read moreabout how my packages are handled while being shipped. I have used other services to ship things out before and have had extremely bad experiences. So I decided to switch it up and head down to my local UPS Store. I was immediately greeted by the smiling faces of Nicholas, Sofia, and Brett. In almost a Pitch Perfect-esque fashion, these three harmonized the words "How can we help you today?" so well I thought Anna Kendrick herself was going to break out a solo performance. As I was shipping something rather fragile and a tad pricey, the team knew exactly how to make me feel at ease. They recommended which packaging I should be using and Sofia even made sure the item was secured tightly so that it wouldn't bounce around before they taped it up. At the end of my shipping experience I performed a random trust fall into Brett, Sofia, and Nicholas and they executed to perfection, bracing my fall and raising me right back up. This didn't really happen but I'd like to think that because of the trust that was created during my time at UPS Store #5502, it definitely would have.
