I ordered some items from Japan and noticed that the company was sending them to my old address. I…read morecontacted FedEx, long before my package had even reached the UK, and asked them to change the delivery address. They said no problem, it would take 24-48hrs and confirmed that my package would be delivered to my new address. Well, imagine my surprise when they delivered it to my old address. I raised a case with them and they confirmed that the change of address had been requested on their system but not actioned. Now, and I nearly fell off my chair they are claiming that my request to change the address was AFTER they had already delivered I pointed out that they have the chats. I had two chats with their reps. The first was the change request and the second an escalation when they delivered to the wrong address. I know they have both chats as the agent on the second chat said he would attach the second chat to the escalation. FedEx claim that there is no way to identify the date and time of the chats, something I don't believe for a second. I'd they just read the content of the first chat, even if they can't find the date, it would be obvious from the dialogue that the chat was pre delivery. FedEx know they cocked up and are just trying to cover it up. Shame on you FedEx!

While I can't comment on the Internet services, I will say that the food is awesome, especially the paninis. They're huge, loaded with toppings and come with salad and a Pringle. I cannot recommend them enough. The service is quick and the staff are friendly without being intrusive.

Not a booth style internet cafe, but dividers between each desk still ensure a level of privacy. I've used their services on different days and times and have either got to use a PC straightaway or just had a 10min wait (enough time to go and browse a few local shops and then pop back!). Monitors include access to a webcam. Screens and keyboards are kept in good condition and are fairly clean and tidy. There's a new-ish addition of a cafe at the back of the shop which you're welcomed to use if you have a short wait before a PC becomes available. I haven't used it yet, but it looks well kept and has a friendly, community feel to it. Good range of hot and cold drinks. The reception area offers a wide range of mobile accessories and parts. Perfect, if like me, you drop you mobile quite a lot and need to replace various broken parts! Again, reasonably priced products and good service. All round, a pleasant experience of my first internet cafe!

I'm not sure quite how I missed the large sign over the building ("United Reformed Church"), but the inside isn't a typical church - it looks like a medium sized hall spilt into a cafe and a lecture room, with a strange igloo type structure in the middle. The inside is not cosy, it is quite airy and bright, with plastic chairs and a canteen like lay out. We arrived at that awkward time between breakfast and lunch, which this country doesn't quite know what to do with. We asked about breakfast and they said that they could rustle up some bacon, lettuce and bbq sauce sandwiches. I asked for mine with just bacon (I dislike hot lettuce) and my friend asked for his with tomato instead of lettuce. We both requested brown sauce instead of bbq. Our bacon, lettuce and bbq sauce sandwiches arrived quite swiftly and once I had got rid of the limp green stuff and exchanged brown for the bb sauce, they were actually quite nice. The coffee was nice and the service was lovely, if a little vague over the substitutions that we wanted! The loos were clean, but had that common design flaw of water pressure that is too high for the relative size of the basin - hence splashes all over the floor. But they were generally fine. I wouldn't go back - it's not special enough for the trip that you have to make slightly out of the way, but if you are in the area, looking for a quiet place to have a regulation bacon sandwich, I'd try it!

I walked by it a few times during my stay and kept reminding myself to try it out as it always seemed packed full of busy people. I finally went to it when I was tired of Pret and many of my other favorite establishments. Lumen's food is sold as healthy and local. While it leans toward the veggie side, you can also get chicken and other meats if that's what you fancy. I went for the Spanish tortilla which comes with a side salad. The salad was your typical fare, but the dressing was really tasty. The tortilla was light, yet filling, and you could tell it was very vegetarian. I would have liked a little more spice or flavoring, but it was a good meal nonetheless. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a healthy and filling meal. Also, big props to the staff here. Everyone was smily and chatty friendly.
