They have lots of Gators stuff (BOO!) but their FSU selection is decent but a little lacking (just like the Noles on-field performance the past couple years) so it would be cool to see them add some more Noles stuff. They also have a selection of items for other teams like Bama, UGA, UCF, USF, etc. as well as some other pro teams. This store isn't huge but they pack a lot into their space and it's near Bono's if you want to stop for lunch or dinner. I'll come back again when I'm in town and want to get some Jags or Noles stuff.

Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

I came in wanting a walking shoe and was told the advantages of using a running shoe as a walker, better breathing. control. She brought me 3 pair of shoes to try on. 2 brands were represented. The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. I will definitely return and hope to be served by her again.

They have an abundance of men's and women's sports clothing selections from all the famous name brands (Nike, adidas, UA, and so much more)! I was impressed with their camping and fishing area, along with the shooting and archery section. On the other end from this section, Academy sports offers a large area of personal fitness machines, bikes, and other gear and accessories to help people keep in shape. The store itself is well managed, clean and impressively organized for a facility so large that offers so much! I got what I needed on this day. The service provided to me was pretty stellar overall. Undoubtably I'll be back! Hobbies help keep the sports store machine running! The employees at the time look so troubled in the eyes you can tell they were stressed out and weren't treated well but him. I felt a dark vibe coming from the employees but from what I experienced during that interview with the manager I can tell that's why the employees behave this way. I would not work here. I feel bad for who ever still works for him. His store has a 4.1 rating which isn't deserved and I'm honestly shocked. Only thing great about the store is the merchandise. I also noticed he owns the store so if you have a complaint. He's the one you go to...there's no one above him to complain about what a lot of people are not seeing and it makes sense now why he's getting away with how he treats and speak to people. The shoes I was wearing were totally flat inside;( I tried on several pairs of shoes but didn't really like the styles. I ended up purchasing an arch insert, for $100 (which was covered using my HSA debit card) as well as arch support house shoes. I work from home so house shoes are important! First thing we did was scan my feet to find what worked best. I can't thank Bobbi enough for her thorough evaluation, explanation and help with picking out my foot care items!

So we stopped in and Scott did an amazing job explaining things and showing me what I needed for my feet. It is expensive but oh so worth it. My ankle is already happy and my spine is going to be happier in the long run. Thank you Foot Solutions!!! These will last me for years, so for the price and I can not do spine surgery because of proper footwear and physical therapy teaching proper exercise and sleep techniques. I am a happy camper!!
