Even the touch-up spots came out clean, and he let me know what they could and couldn't safely correct on the hood. Super honest, no BS. They also said they'll check in again in a few months for a maintenance wash, which just shows they stand behind their work. If you care about your car and want it done right, this is the place. It hasn't been detailed since we bought it in 2021, and after a long road trip through New Mexico and Arizona a couple summers ago (the last time I washed it), it definitely needed attention. Kyle arrived around 10 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving, and after I handed him the keys, we had a friendly chat about cars and trucks. So let me tell you a short story:…read more 2017 Yukon XL, myself, 1 manly husband, 2 filthy kids, 3 miniature donkeys, 1 goat, multiple chickens, 2 regular dogs, 1 prairie dog, 1 cat and a partridge in a pear tree. There are fragments of each of those listed, plus food particles, toys, farm grossness, the remnants of a 9 state road trip to the Smoky Mountains and one extremely dusty business trip to the hill country for a quick deer hunt. Sans a carpet cleaning because I have the WeatherTech mats and my car is only a few months old, clearly I needed the most expensive, most detailed, Big Daddy wash (whatever it's called, it was only around $120).......... Not only could I have licked my floor mats when I picked up my car from Star Hand but I could have licked my tires, fender wells and steering wheel. Would it have been weird? Yes. But I could have done it. My car was far cleaner than the day I purchased it off the car lot and to be honest cleaner than ANY car I've ever purchased off a car lot. They cleaned UNDER my WeatherTech mats and pulled up all my seat protectors, cleaned underneath them AND cleaned the seat protector. WHO DOES THAT?!?! ADDITIONALLY, they stayed after-hours in order for me to get there to pick up the car AND had a smile on their faces when I finally got there to get it. Why 5 stars? Because this was an amazing combination of quality and convenience…read more --- --- --- We moved back to the Houston area after living in Tampa for the last 15 years or so. Since we grew up here, we knew about some of the differences between the areas: way more Tex-Mex and BBQ, way less Cuban food. Way more traffic, no zoning laws on I-45, etc. But one very small difference we've noticed is a weird one: there are 10 million car washes but almost none of them are self-serve. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was on the verge of trading in my old vehicle and wanted to get it cleaned up before taking it to the dealer. I drove to several car washes only to find out that they were exclusively self-serve. I eventually found one place that was about 25 minutes away in Conroe, but between the commute and the wait, it ate up 2-3 hours of my day. Could I just wash the cars myself? Yes. Am I way too lazy to do that? Yes. Enter: the need for mobile detailing. I searched through my neighborhood Facebook group for personal recommendations and found these guys. We texted back and forth on a Tuesday to set up time on a Friday for them to come by and wash both of our cars. It took about 3-3.5 hours but I didn't have to leave my house and my wife and I both just sat in our offices and worked the whole time. Meanwhile, the quality of the work was great and the cost was very fair - about the same as I paid at the place I took my old car to. And significantly less than a nearby detail shop was charging. I will definitely be scheduling repeat appointments with these guys a few times a year as long as they keep doing it!
