I prepaid almost $500 for a month of…read moreservice here and then once I finally realized that I actually had an infection in my spine thanks to an MRI (that they never recommended, only got it once I went to the ER). I only went to 2 appointments out of the whole month that I paid for. Mind you there was 3 weekly appointments that they recommended so in total almost 12. However, once I realized what the actual issue(osteomyelitis) was and not their awful misdiagnosis... I had to be admitted to the hospital. So naturally because I pre paid for a service that I am no longer needing (due to being on antibiotics) I asked for a refund for the REMAINDER of the funds that I did not use. This has been a battle since June of this year.... their office is sneaky!!! the insurance case manager never emails me back when I reach out, when I try to call she gives me some BS reason why I can't get the money "YET"... and they have done nothing to try and refund my money that they OWE ME. This is ridiculous... we are in a pandemic... my money is already stretch absolutely thin and on top of the medical bills that piled up bc they wasted my time and my infection got worse than it needed... So please do yourself a favor and do not come to this facility. Your time and money will be wasted. Also all of the equipment there is definitely 30-40+ years old..... so I'm sure your money could be spent better elsewhere into someone's pocket who actually deserves and actually cares about their clients not just $$$

I mainly use doctor Potter- he is great at explaining what is going on. Dr. Wong is also great. I just rotate through the docs and massage staff. And Mr. Waldo.....runs the electro stim/heat therapy/traction area with his assistants- also great. Highly recommend you try this before you go to an orthopedic who will stick you or cut you. I've even referred my husband for his back issues. Everyone is really attentive and you become familiar with everyone who works there. The Doctor himself is absolutely amazing. They take their time and explain to you what's going on and why, and also find a resolution which is best for you. Due to my work hours I have to come on my lunch every other day and they make sure to time everything accordingly so i don't miss out on any treatment or anytime from work which is great!!! The accident itself already had a major impact on me, financially and emotionally, and as usual o thought the therapy would interfere with my normal life, but it has done nothing but make me better. I thank everyone here for their emasculate service and kindness. Which is the standard practice for all doctors. The person on the phone could not look that info up then so she advised me - we would call you a day before your appointment and we can find this info the . No calls until 4.30 pm the day before, when I called in. The lady says - yes I have not been able to make my calls yet. When I asked about how much I would owe for my visit tomorrow. She says - I can tell you when you come in tomorrow. I said - I like to avoid surprises before my visit. She mentions - we don't have you insurance info here. She proceeds to tell me - she has 2 other patients in the office. So she is not sure if she can get the payment info for me. This is not a good way to make the first impression. Please follow through on what you committed. 1. The insurance info provided at the appointment booking should be saved. 2. Patients should not have to chase the payment info. You should be able to provide atleast an estimate (we understand this info can change) 3. Finally, why would you make it so shady and not be transparent about how much you would be charging. Customers have a right to transparent charges information. I really was looking forward to this and I hope they improve their new customer experience.

I was referred to Houston Spine & Rehab by Jennifer a very close friend of mine. She raved about Dr Newburger and said he would know exactly what I needed to get me back on track. My consultation was thorough and he was very knowledgeable. After hearing my concerns, he brought in one of the other colleagues, Dr.Crone to sit in on the consult. We came up with a plan and it has been phenomenally executed. They were able to see me the same day for my chiropractic adjustment and massage/E-stem treatments to follow. I was very pleased the massage therapist, Renee and Andrew specifically targeted all the areas specified by Dr Crone with detail. And to top it all off, the Nurse and front desk staff are such a breath of fresh air. The ladies are lovely. Ally and CeCe welcomes me and sees me off with a smiles to laughter every visit. I highly recommend the Midtown location Thank you, Midtown Team Dionne!!

Then, a herniated disc in my lower back flared up badly, and I was referred to Dr. Patel upstairs. That was about a year and a half ago, and I've been coming ever since! Dealing with recurring back pain can be frustrating, physically and mentally, so having a team I trust makes such a difference. Whenever my disc flares up, I know I have somewhere to turn for help getting back to feeling like myself. I now just come in for maintenance, and a big reason I continue is the genuinely caring and attentive staff. I did several yoga stretches that typically work the kinks out of my back when this happens, but this time was different and I would soon find out within the next 12 hours after this. I wake up from my sleep immediately falling out of bed when I thought I told my body I wanted to stand. It took me about 30 min to crawl and make my way to the bathroom and then I laid on the floor for another hour or so. Called up my brother & sister and they both recommended Anthony at Vitruvian. Made the appointment and fortunately Anthony was available and my sister was able to take me to that first appointment. To summarize my first visit, "NO PAIN, NO GAIN." He dug in to my issues and performed some painfully amazing work on my back and other related muscles. Anthony made an excellent assessment coupled with detailed descriptions of what the affected muscle groups were and how my movements would be impacted if left untreated. He gave me an easy to follow regimen of stretches & excercises to do in between my appointments, was incredibly easy to reach (this includes email), and left no questions unanswered. I never felt left in the dark about what his goal was for my back and what my responsibilities were as the patient undergoing PT. Only after 2 appointments with Anthony, my back feels 90% back to where it was before it went out. Why only 90%? Because he helped me realize my posture and how I lift heavy items have always been bad and he's now correcting these decades-long habits in order to save my back and help me live according to my lifestyle, not how I was when I actively played highschool and college football. I've been a true believer since my first appointment and will continue to commit to building my better back with Anthony at The Vitruvian Physio!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
