This review is for the Physical Therapists only…read more I just finished my clinical rotation here and I got to see how each of the therapists here interact with their patients. They normally get booked 2 patients an hour-- 3 max. once a while, and they are super efficient with their time and multi-tasking. These therapists know what they are doing, and believe me, I've worked with bad therapists and know what they're like. This clinic is student- friendly too but the patients didn't seem to mind that I was a student and needed guidance with their treatment plans. They will always be informed if someone is a student and will be asked if it's okay if the student helps treat them. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and will answer any questions that you have. They don't act like you're bothering them with petty questions because they really want you to understand what you're going through. Don't expect to get one on one attention your whole session, unless it's you're first visit as an evaluation. If you work hard during your treatment, and DO THE HOME EXERCISES you will get well faster! As for insurance, and the front desk, I barely interacted with them so I can't really say much. But as an outpatient clinic, I really liked what I saw from the therapists here.

The facility itself is not very big, and doesn't contain a ton of equipment, but they have everything they need to get the job done. It is one location of a large nationwide group of physical therapy centers; their billing department was surprisingly slow. Usually they can't wait to pry the money out of your pocket, but I didn't get billed for the first batch of my copays for almost a month after I quit going. I'm not complaining, but it's a little unusual, don't you think?

Most notable experience was using dry needling and the Neubie / Neufit machine. The needling helped relax and stimulate his high tension areas. The Neubie was the coolest part. It has stimulator patches that send electrical pulses to help calm the tension. She did a full body evaluation, found different points of diss alignment, and advised small changes to everyday posture (like different position while driving the car). She recommended a pillow and at home muscle stimulator which are both extremely reasonable in price. All in all, a great experience. I arrived 10 minutes early, as recommended, only to find the doors locked and the lights off. I attempted to contact the office and left a message, but no one was available. Wanting to give your office the benefit of the doubt, I waited nearby, spending additional time, gas, and energy. Your office did not open until 9:20 a.m., nearly 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. When I finally entered, the front desk associate was on a phone call, so I waited again. Once she assisted me, I was asked for my copay. I respectfully explained that I did not feel it was appropriate to pay a copay after waiting almost an hour due to the office opening late. The associate checked with her supervisor and returned to inform me that the copay would still be required and that they were unaware of my appointment--despite the fact that I received two appointment confirmation notifications. This situation was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. It demonstrated a lack of organization, communication, and respect for patients' time. As a result, I declined the appointment and chose to take my business elsewhere. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve scheduling accuracy and office operations so future patients do not experience the same inconvenience.

He listened to me as I reviewed each week's improvements and added to the treatments each time creating more healing, movement, and strength. Finally, after a year and a half of dealing with the pain and it and only getting worse, I decided I had to do something. Dr. Ho would tell you I have a high tolerance for pain, but this was unbearable and I would wake up every night in tears it was so bad. I went to Texas Orthopedic Hospital to a shoulder specialist who wanted to shoot me up with cortisone, I'd had X-rays, an MRI, and went to a very well-known neurosurgeon to try and find out what the problem was. I didn't want to temporarily fix it, I wanted to know what was wrong. He said he didn't know why I didn't just get the cortisone shots and walked out of the room. If I wouldn't get sued, I would tell you his name. I couldn't believe it. I'd driven almost two hours to go see him because he came so highly recommended. Needless to say, I didn't go back and was furious! A friend recommended I go to a chiropractor. Her chiropractor in Wyoming recommended two in Houston whom I researched, but saw Dr. Casey Ho had, at that time, 20 five star reviews and was also an acupuncturist. HE'S who I wanted to see. He got me in the next day. Three needles later, ART, and an adjustment, and I walked out pain free...PAIN FREE!!! I'm grateful DAILY that I found him. I've been going to him for eight years now because I tend to be somewhat clumsy, and have taken some pretty bad falls, mainly because of my dogs, but they were completely my fault. Very biased, rude, vindictive, and discriminatory behavior from the staff and Eric. They had no…read moreempathy for a patient who is suffering from severe pain. They have huge issues with communication amongst themselves and the patient is the one paying for their mistakes and lack of communications. The front desks staff is unapologetic most of the times (except Rebecca) and do not have a minimum courtesy. They charged me for every little extra thing they did without informing me that there is an extra cost to that before providing the service. When I questioned about their bills, they became very defensive. Upon bringing up all the concerns with Eric, he asked me to stop going there without listening or understanding the issues. Being a brown person, I felt being treated very differently from other white patients and without any respect. PS: the physiotherapists working there are good people and especially, Judy. The management sucks and especially Eric.
