    Getting ready for our adventure

My cousins and I booked our ATV experience with Lori...she was absolutely amazing...thank you for helping coordinate 11of us and then after our fun we sat at the picnic tables and ate fabulous food from Fred's food truck. We were treated like VIPs and our guides through the trails were also great...lots of laughs and fun...we will totally be coming back...Thank you again to Lori and the entire crew at Revolution Adventures.

The place is huge with so many different options. Property was so well keeped you can definitely tell they took pride in their appearance and 1st impressions. Archery, four wheelers, dun bugges, clay shooting, fishing and The Mucky Duck. They have so many outdoor activities to do with family and/or friends. Antionette the receptionist was so very nice and helpful. She answered all of our questions and made sure we understood what she said. James the Archery instructor was very patient and polite with my girls and made sure they had a great experience. I will definitely be back to try out their other activities.

My family and I had the pleasure of participating in the mucky duck ride. Absolutely great, our vessels serpentine belt broke so we were stuck for a while but the homies Dakota and Josh were on top of it and handle the situation with the upmost promptness and professionalism. Those 2 cats were a really great duo to have as guide's and the whole experience was one that my family will treasure and look forward to again in the future. Much respect from the Cabanillas family in Pomona ca.

Great safe fun! Lots of mud! Only drawback is you cannot take your phone but as fast as I went, no time for pictures!

Looking for a fishing trip getaway in Central Florida and we picked this place because it offered a 65 acre private lake for fishing. The reservation process was very user friendly and easy online. The pricing for what we got was excellent as was our fishing guide and his services. The lake was beautiful with plenty of fish! Our guide was very patient and helpful as we learned all the tips and tricks of catching fish on the lake. I was a novice and he explained fishing terminology and techniques which made my experience fantastic. My partner, although a seasoned fisherman, was still able to learn from him as well. The guide was always ready to jump to help us unhook a fish or my line from a tree. Super friendly and made our day enjoyable! While fishing, we noticed that Revolution offers all kinds of other outdoor experiences such as archery, four wheeling, mucky duck swampers and clay pigeon shooting which we will come back for! At the end of the day we put fish in the boat which made us very happy and we certainly recommend using Revolution for their fishing experience!

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 People... I will never go to Orlando again to visit just Disney... There is so much to do besides jump on a roller coaster at Magic Kingdom. While touring Orlando on my bachelor weekend, we booked with Revolution Off Road (ROR). I spoke with Audrey on the phone and she was really helpful. She was accommodating to my request and she made booking a breeze. ROR was able to accommodate all 11 of my guys which was awesome! Let's talk about the trail! I promise you this place is amazing! Its acres upon acres of dips, jumps, bumps, holes and more. The adventure never stopped! We were sooooo excited and had a blast. The cost is about $91 per person but you have 2 hours of ride time with a 15 minute break in between riffs. The staff were absolutely awesome. Everyone was super happy and helpful. There was a young lady inside who checked us in. She had provided amazing service. Our guides were patient as well as cautious with us and that was great because none of us were experienced drivers. My favorite part of the trails is the deep mud holes. **Be sure to bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty**. You are bound to get dirty. You will get muddy shoes. You will get mud in your nails... it's just muddy and that makes it so fun. Some of the mud holes are at least 2-3 feet deep (during our visit). I really enjoyed myself until the very end. My ATV cut off in a mud hole and left me sitting there for about 15 minutes while the guys tried to get me out. Long story short, they sent a guy to come pick me up in which I was told they were bringing me another ATV. When the guy arrives he had a 2 seater (they call it an ATV+) where I sat as a passenger where he took a short cut to get me back to the check in spot. SO I missed out on the last half of my ride because he said they didn't have any more ATV's I could drive. It's my bachelor party and I missed out on the last portion of the ride with my friends. With that being said, I'll still give ROR 5 stars because I really had a blast BUT I was super bummed as the guy said they didn't have ATV's I could drive but there was ATV's sitting when we got back to the base (ATV pluses). Maybe they just didn't want to give me a plus.

Service: Great staff! Venue: Super cool! A nice backwoods vibe. Try: Archery!! It was so much fun I learned a lot too. Made me want to buy my own. Tips: Tip your instructor if you can. Let's be friends! Add me on Insta @chelsearae_ofsunshine

My boyfriend and I went for our 4 year anniversary. I wanted to get out of the city and enjoy the outdoors and have some fun. In Orlando, there aren't activities like these. The drive to the location was beautiful. There are lots of trees, fields and long peaceful roads. It reminds you of being in the countryside, yet you're minutes away from the major city. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lady at the front desk. Very helpful and pleasant. We were going with another group so we waited in the rocking chairs looking over a beautiful lake. Not a bad waiting area! When it was our time to ride, Mo gave us the low down on rules to follow and what to expect. We picked out our atv, got our helmets and road off into the trails! We had a group of 6. It was pretty dusty in the back so Mo was concerned for our safety and he reached out to Manny to come and break up the group. I guess they were concerned that it was so dusty that James and I would lose the pack. (I was fine with that as getting lost in the trails would be fun!) Manny rode us around in two sections, the first was a "get used to the trails" ride and the second was "let's have some fun" ride. In between rides we went back to the camp and got water and rested our hands. Overall it was a blast! I love atvs, mine is broken and there's not really anywhere to ride it these days. They have all kinds to stuff to do out there. I talked to the guy in the front office and he said they've had all sorts of gatherings from weddings, scavenger hunts, team building events, he said name it and they will do it. Pretty cool!

Mud from top to bottom! Super fun!

We had such a fun adventure.....We had a mishap or two due to some fairly large puddles, but the guides were phenomenal, especially Dakota! Recommend highly!

I definitely recommend this adventure place. My husband and I did the ATV ride & loved every minute of it. We've been there plenty of times before and will always return whenever in this part of Florida. Our guide Dennis was SUBURB!!! Definitely told us the rules with the other staff Dallas but we loved how he answered all our questions and told us about the different types of activities of the property & he definitely knows the trail like the back of his hand. All the staff was friendly but of course we loved loved our guide Dennis. Thanks!!!

The muddy aftermath of all the fun we had!!

Is a drivers license required? Or just an I.D?

However, it's only $10 now that I have my own life jacket (saving me additional cost of $5 to use one of theirs, as required). Well worth the low cost for some soul-enriching, communing with nature. I have never made a reservation. I normally arrive around 10:30, most recently on a Friday. Parked for free on Baptist Camp Rd. Just a bit of a walk from there with my inflated paddleboard, but I don't mind the extra exercise. You can unload your stuff closer, if preferable. There are port-a-potties available. You can count on there being a line in the check-in office. Various recreation supplies are available there for purchase. The process moves reasonably enough. A reservation will guarantee your entrance, however, and possibly aide quicker personal info collection. I always plan to do the Emerald Cut in roughly 3 hours round-trip, allowing myself several stops to enjoy the surroundings. You do run into (quite literally at times) novice paddlers along the way, which can be a bit tricky, yet not a real nuisance for me. In general, there's friendliness along the waterway. Slighty rowdy, party vibes in some spots, but also opportunities for solace and zen in various nooks. Encountering wildlife, fragrant elderberry, and other captivating flora along this stretch is always gratifying. It's a popular recreation destination for good reason.

My Hubby and I love kayaking, so we booked an excursion months in advance for Rock Springs through TripAdvisor. Our Tour Operator was Get Up And Go Kayaking located at Kings Landing in Apopka, FL. I LOVE saying Apopka ;) The good news: Apopka is a quick 1 hour drive from Orlando. Make sure you don't miss the turn to King's Landing, because the entrance is located on a narrow dirt road. You must drive past Kelly Park (which fills up fast). There is a Park Ranger located here who will guide you to King's Landing. As you get closer and if you see a parking spot, grab it! Check in is located in the Cabin like office where you will have to sign a waiver. If you do not want to take a clear bottom, guided Kayak tour, you can either rent or BYO Kayak versus taking a semi private, clear, guided kayak tour. NOTE: ONLY use their Sunscreen/lotion which is provided at no cost. It protects the wildlife and the Springs. We wanted the full experience as we have previously enjoyed renting clear Kayaks. Our guide for the morning was: Megan, who was fantastic! Full of energy, information and helpful tidbits about the Springs and its human and wildlife inhabitants. Our group was small and capped at 10. We paddled through both narrow and open stretches, and stopped to swim in the warm, crystal-clear water. One highlight was a banyan tree with an 8-foot natural "jump hole"--such a cool experience! It was a serene, memorable day, and fun fact: this is the very spring featured in the Visit Orlando commercials! Yeah, definitely take a day away from crowded Orlando to relax and enjoy Mother Nature! You will Thank Me ;)

Near the parking, there is a play area for children and a fenced dog park area. Overall, I thought I had a good experience and think that it is a fabulous area. They have a nice fenced in area to let your dogs mingle and play with other dogs off the leash and there's a trail and some back country you can take them and run with. The good: - Solid mix of wooded technical holes and a few open bombers around the lake. Holes 4-8 along the water are gorgeous, especially at sunset. - Tee pads are concrete and in great shape (huge upgrade from the old rubber mats). - New Mach X baskets catch well and the bright yellow bands make them easy to spot. - Multiple pin positions on several holes keep it fresh -- they move them every few months. - Free parking, clean porta-potty near hole 1, and the course flows really well. Rarely any backups even on weekends. The "eh": - Can get soggy after rain (bring boots in spring). A couple fairways hold water like a sponge. - Hole 13's long position is a total prayer across the marsh -- fun once, frustrating the other 19 times. Highly recommend for intermediate and up. Beginners might get humbled on the back 9, but that's how we all learn! Will keep coming back. 4.5 stars rounded down only because mother nature still wins sometimes.

Then he says "is Rodman where you want to go because I haven't been up there all year." So I'm a little shocked be he advertises for Rodman and he seemed to be ok with it in the email. That should have been my first sign. So ok, I ask him if not there where is the best place we can go. Again, he seemed confused and really wasn't sure where to go. So he named off a few places "we could go." Yet again, I'm a little shocked because he's supposed to be a guide that knows where the fish are and where to go... He finally tells me "he'll ask around and figure out where to go" and the call me Saturday the 12th to setup a time and place. Again, he's supposed to be a guide that knows the waters and but he doesn't. So clearly this guy is new to this or he's really not a guide and is posing as one... That should have been another sign not to go with him. I pay him $100 to hold the spot. Come Saturday I heard nothing from him. Fine maybe he's busy and can't back to me. Plus I worked 14 hours Saturday and I had no time to call him. Well Sunday rolls around and he never called, text or emailed. Again, I work 12 hours and I didn't have time to track him. By now I figured something happened and he decided not to go or he couldn't figure out where to go.... I checked my email at 10pm and low and behold he sent me an email at 8 pm Sunday and wanted me to call him... Seriously 8pm on Sunday he emails me, 10 hour before you would normally meet a guide for the trip.... I respond back to him that it's to late call him back and how it's ridiculous not to contact me sooner. I went back to bed and asked for a refund the next day and he refused to refund the deposit as if I were my fault. He refuses to accept the fact that he made a mistake and didn't honor his own policy of calling a client 2 days before the trip. His expectation was for me to jump out of bed at 10pm, call him and wake everyone up in my house and get ready for a trip in 8 hours. I'm sorry that's not how it works. No one in their right mind would do this to a client. Out of all the guided trips I've been on he is the only one that did this. He's in complete denial of his own actions. Quite frankly I think he did this on purpose hoping I wasn't awake (which I wasn't) because he had no clue where to go to... I have no other choice but to file a complaint with the Attorney General against his license and file a charge back on my card. I strongly suggest staying clear of this guy if you plan on having a dependable and knowledgeable guide.
