AT&T salesmen are liars and not to be trusted. I was promised a monthly rate that convinced me to…read moreswitch from Verizon. I verified it with the salesman 4 times. I got home, set up the phone he screwed up the transfer on, and found out the amount he said I would pay is far less than they than I am being billed now. Avoid AT&T no matter what the liars promise. On a side note, they say you can cancel up to 30 days after purchase then want to bill you a weeks pay in fees and more. Use Verizon, Pure Talk, or anyone other than AT&T.

My review is for the company and not this specific location. I recently switched cell service…read moreproviders and purchased the $240/yr prepaid plan online with an eSIM. I had a very difficult time activating services and had to call the prepaid customer service/tech support line multiple times to finally get my cell service active and working. My renewal price switched from $240 to $300 and I was told by one representative that because I didn't stay with the number that ATT provided, the $240 deal was no longer valid. The only issue is that the number I was given and is shown on the eSIM activation card is still the same number that I'm using. I was never given any other number nor did I change a number. The online deal only states that it requires the purchase of an eSIM or new phone and activation of a new service, which I did both. I purchased an eSIM and switched from Verizon to ATT. This is the type of bait and switch tactic that is going to deter me from keeping ATT next year. I was able to reach another rep that looked into my account and has seen all the issues that I encountered trying to switch service. He informs me that the renewal will be at $240 but I'm not convinced because my account is showing the renewal price of $300. It was originally $240 on Oct 17th but changed to $300 when I checked my account on the 18th.

I finally had time today and drive 30 minutes to pick up, but store is closed without notice or reason during normal business hours. Have waited over 10 minutes now but giving up on someone coming. The lack of paper documentation which establishes some kind of paper trail for what happened,…read moreincluding expectations and contract, and what a future bill looks like numbers wise is an absurdity beyond absurdities. This is basic business. This is how you treat people. Not having a papertrail is always a disservice to the customer when they have questions or want something changed. It's inevitably their word and their interpretation of facts which rule the day. I got insurance that 1) I had no desire for and 2) wasn't told how much it would cost 3) didn't know I was getting. In fact, I don't remember signing up for insurance, I remember signing the other dotted line. And the context of the conversation with the agent would have further indicated that. It will be about "so an so" and "so and so" is not how people do business. Because I will pay you "thus and such" and "thus and such." Without actual numbers for a mobile contract which you will have for a year or more, you don't have anything approaching a solid and concrete understanding of your budget. You are a multi-national company that does international business and you can't change a bill an pro-rate it??? Instead, you take my money and pay it back on another bill??? That's an equal absurdity. What an utter crock. That's called stealing from the customer. That's you taking my money for a month and not paying me interest. I'm paying AT & T $100 bucks a month and AT & T can't afford .10 to give you documentation proves their total lack of concern for their customer. Their mission statement is a hollow absurdity on this question. Clear, comprehensive documentation which speaks to both rights and responsibilities (the aspects of a contract) is how business is done with customers in modern day America. This is like when they quit sending paper billing completely, for no reason what-so-ever and called it my families fault. My experience with AT & T has been a Kafka-esque nightmare--as if they took instructions from Kafka himself. I'm going to do my best to avoid them with ever fiber and particle of my being.

The lady was immediately rude to me, like I was bothering her or maybe she was upset by the fact that I bought my toddler with me. She took my new phone out of the box and declared it "all good" and handed it back to me. Another younger lady was talking from her desk to us telling me it didn't matter online what phone was under my number as long as the new one worked. I felt very stupid and will never go into that store again! They were not helpful and just very rude from the moment I walked up! Zero stars if I could!

For whatever reason, AT&T doesn't want our money!! We have had to call a dozen times and BEG them to please come out and get our internet set up, and they keep blowing us off. 3 times now they have given us a date and time that they would be out to our house and no one has shown up. I'm actually speechless that they think this is acceptable customer service! I absolutely DO NOT recommend AT&T for anything, weather it be internet or phone service. They do not care about their customers. We have T-Mobile for our phone service and they're incredible. Unfortunately they don't provide internet to our area which is why we're still dealing with this shit storm that is AT&T.

If I were on the leadership team at ATT, I would absolutely want to know about my experience this…read moreafternoon at the store located at 3871 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage, TN 37076. I ordered an upgraded phone online for an in-store pickup. Had I known what would transpire, I would've never gone into that store... 1. The confirmation I received informed me that it'd be ready for pickup in 2 hours. I went to the store 3 hours later, but it wasn't ready, which wasn't a huge deal. 2. The next day, I called the store to see if it was ready. They told me it was, so I went back. 3. When I got there, I was told the phone wasn't ready afterall. The representative's name was Daylen. I could tell he couldn't care less because he didn't so much as offer an apology for the store telling me my phone was ready when it wasn't. 4. He told me he could just set me up with one of their phones, which would be fine, except I was already showing a pending charge from when I ordered the phone online. ($58.50) 5. After showing Daylen the pending charge, I asked if I'd have to pay anything. He said, "yes" without any empathy, care or explanation. I asked if he could simply cancel the order for me. He said I'd have to "call them to cancel it." At this point, I was really starting to feel like no one was interested in helping me find a resolution. Nonetheless, I maintained my composure and demeanor, but I did calmly tell him, "At this point, I really don't feel like you're trying to help me." Things spiraled downward from there. 6. His response was that I was "judging him." I started to ask if he could see where I was coming from, but he kept talking over me and wouldn't let me even get a sentence out. He went on to claim that I thought he was being unethical--which I never said, but at that point, I told him that he wasn't showing any empathy. 7. At that point, he told me that I was "too lazy to call them myself to cancel the order," and dismissed me. 8. There was another representative in the store that wasn't helping anyone (since I was the only customer in there). I started to ask him what the first representative's name was, but then he cut in and said, "If you want my name, you can ask ME." By now, he had a threatening tone. I said, "Ok, what's your name?" He told me his name and made the comment that I was too lazy to call customer service to cancel the order, but not too lazy to file a complaint. He added that I was being an "a-hole". Never once did I raise my voice, become threatening, name-call, or anything. I was completely flabbergasted at this point. Never in my life have I been treated that way by a business. All I was trying to do was iron everything out. At the end of the day, I'm a businessman that leads a sales team of 90 people, and I know how to conduct myself. It'd be one thing if I flew off the handle, but I was calm the entire time. If I were Daylen's manager, I would be completely embarrassed, ashamed and appalled about my decision to hire that guy. Even to this moment, I'm pretty speechless about the entire experience. If anyone is reading this, I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere, rather than going to the ATT store at 3871 Lebanon Pike. Not only will you not receive any help, they will insult you with a threatening tone and turn you away. If the store manager is reading this, I would like a phone call. My name is in the system. Disappointedly yours, Jesse Reddington

The only way to replace a phone on a plan that has an upgrade option is to now go online or over the phone, which has been known to be a terrible quality experience FOR YEARS! What's the point of a physical store if you don't carry any products for people to purchase? Garbage policies, garbage store. Never shopping here again. Drove 40 minutes to be told to kick rocks. Hope this store closes down, cuz man, this location is useless.
