Found this gem spa on Groupon. Given that Groupon takes a big amount of the revenue, I decided to call directly and purchase directly with Skin Spa. Decided to text the number and I received my response in a couple of minutes. I was lucky there was a last minute appointment available for the same day. To my surprise the spa was very well put together with an ambience of peace and comfort. Then I met Sasha, my skin guru! She is approachable, listens and doesn't push you to purchase and she genuinely cares about your concerns. I came in with an open mind and asked for her expertise. I have hyperpigmentation issues and I'm always wearing heavy foundation to cover this up. Sasha introduced me to Charcoal laser facial; applies a charcoal mask all over face, avoiding eye and mouth area, then goes over with a laser. We started on a small area to see how sensitive my skin was and to get an idea of that's the route I was looking for. Well....the difference was seen immediately and my horrible brown spots started to look lighter and I was sold! I decided to purchase a package of 5 treatments. Fast forward to 3 weeks and Look at my results after my second treatment (I've attached a picture)! I've also included a picture of what my skin looks now with minimal makeup and I love it!!! Thank you Sasha for changing my skin game! Also, she introduced me to an amazing collagen moisturizer which I'm hooked on! read more

Reviews are very misleading. Makes me wonder if they're fake accounts or friends that have never used her services. If you're considering Revive Skin Spa.... You're better off ANYWHERE ELSE. As an avid goer of skin spas and all things beauty I thought this would be a pleasant experience however Sasha's inexperience, lack of attention to detail, or a combination of both warrants this review. read more

Sasha's great, every time after an appointment with her my skin feels soft and fresh. The space is really comfortable and relaxing and she's very good with her hands. Highly recommend read more

This place is amazing! The owner is so genuine, loving, and incredible. I have twins on my lap fighting as we speak, but having found this place is like having found the biggest gem in San Carlos. I don't have time to not go somewhere that's incredible, and its truly phenomenal. In two facials, my skin was radiant and I was published in numerous magazines (yes I am a model) and can't wait to share the photos with this incredible lady. I love her as my family. You won't be dissapointed. read more

Sasha is the best. She will give you her honest opinion if you are not sure what you need. She is patient and sweet. I will not go to anyone else for my skin. She will take her time with you and has a very clean spa. Please give her a call your skin will thank you see you soon Yvette. read more

Update to response from "owner" of salon with two names akin to separate name on yelp who messaged me and then responded to my review: No review is necessary, there is no error .Do your own review and leave me alone please. I have been there. Big mistake. Please don't personally message me again. That is very awkward and it makes me uncomfortable to read your short sassy moody unprofessional words and then see you attempt to portray yourself differently on the actual review thread. Thanks. read more

I've been seeing Sasha now for about 7 months, and at first I was a total skeptic for a few reasons. First, I worked in the industry as a make up artist and have learned a lot about skin care, (don't waste your money on La Mer or any of these other expensive brands that don't deliver!!) and second, after the first treatment I was like yeah whatever...but I bought a package and I really enjoy talking to Sasha about life! Well flash forward a few months and I noticed that my mustache melasma, left over from pregnancy was GONE, completely gone, and I've been in the sun a lot with my kids at the pool. My skin is SO EVEN I was surprised and the only thing I've been doing different is going to Sasha on a regular monthly basis! So I am SO happy I happened upon her groupon in January and go in for ME time! Thank you Sasha!! XO read more

I had a great experience with Sasha who is very knowledgeable about skin issues. I'm already done with the 3 visits that I bought on Groupon and bought 3 cleavage sessions because after 1 you could see the difference . I love how my face has less dark spots and my complexion looks much clearer and softer. Thank you Sasha and see you next week. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Sasha and Revive Your Skin Spa since it opened. I had only had 2 facials before going to Revive Your Skin Spa, but now I am hooked. I always look forward to my appointments. My skin feels better and better after every treatment. There were places on my face that had larger pores and those spots are so much better, I also enjoy the little things that Sasha does. Like adding a hand massage at the end. I highly recommend Revive Your Skin Spa. read more

I've been going for the photo facial + LED light on my upper arms and it's really helped reduce some of the redness and rough texture that I was insecure about. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress after 6 treatments, which is supposed to be even better! You also don't see spas with such gorgeous Interior design, so it's really a nice plus of coming to have all the comfortable amenities and scents from her candles. Fabulous bedside manners as well, which is hard to find sometimes in this industry. read more

I have, in the last month, had my first facial here at Revive Your Skin Spa and I am a now a believer! I never really thought it did much except make you feel pampered and relaxed but I realized it does BOTH of those and so much more. My skin has felt so much softer and the area under my eyes has smoothed and the little lines and wrinkles are disappearing! Sasha, the owner, is amazing and has great products. I bought a cream that I put under my eyes every morning and night and I can see the difference in the 2 weeks I have been using it. My favorite treatment is the oxygen treatment and I would go just for that if she did nothing else but the whole experience is awesome. Give this place and this amazing person a try. You will not be sorry! You will love the comfortable spa setting and will come away feeling fantastic! read more

I came to Revive Your Skin Spa as I have very dry, pigmented skin--seeking IPL treatments, rejuvenation and hydration. I am so very impressed with the owner, Sasha, and her spa. She is very professional, yet warm and friendly. My skin feels and looks great! (I am 65 years old.) Sasha's knowledge of skin therapies is vast and her salon is warm and cozy. While I live about 40 miles away, I will continue to come back! Thanks so much, Ellen read more

I really hate to do this, but some of the reviews on here are misleading. I decided upon going to this place partially because of the reviews, but I'm not sure if the other reviewers know what an IPL is or have had it done before. I paid for a groupon for 3 IPLs and I've had IPL done before. I have some sunspots that bother me that I wanted to fix plus the regular stuff IPL helps with (fine lines, smoothing out the texture, etc.). However, I don't know what I got but it wasn't really an IPL. I don't know if it was the equipment or the settings that weren't right. With lasers also, the settings really can play a big role and sometimes people just leave the settings as is without adjusting for different skin types, which leads to ineffective processes. My first time I had laser hair removal, it barely did anything and I was in an area with a larger population of a slightly different skin color and hair types and I found out after trying a second laser hair treatment specialist that a lot of people in the area just keep the settings the same for whoever walks in. That person was able to do the laser hair treatment perfectly. I think my skin looked better as I left and she was for sure helpful with some of my more annoying skin issues (like my rosacea, which is much more of a problem than my sun spots, but for some reason, my sun spots bother me more than they should haha). After IPLs, your skin should get hyperpigmentation where there are sunspots and such, so the spots get darker, then it comes off after about 5 or more days. I pointed out my sunspots (which while I actually really appreciate she didn't notice without me pointing them out as it's a nice change of pace when people aren't scrutinizing your every flaw). She was very nice and had some very good tips on using turmeric, which it's also nice to see a cosmetologist not rely on harsher chemicals as much and know sometimes the best solution is something simple and healthy. I don't know anything about her other services and supporting small businesses especially during this time is important, but if you're wanting sunspot removal, I didn't feel that got addressed really. (though to be fair, my sunspots are already pretty mild). read more

Revive Skin Spa - Skin Care Near Me - San Carlos, California

Thanks to Groupon I get to try new places and treatments I might normally not avail myself of. I visited Sasha just yesterday and loved the experience. She is professional, very warm and kind, and knowledgeable about skin care. I liked that she explained what she was doing (I had my first LED experience) and how it fit into the bigger picture of taking care of one's skin as we get older. My skin looked and felt super smooth and really did seem to have a glow afterwards. No harsh treatment, not reddened or roughed up. I can't wait to go back in two weeks for another go. I recommend her highly. read more

Sasha did a amazing job on my face. I recieved 5 treatments with in a hour and a half. She had explained how different things affect your skin quality, and how I can care for my skin more effectively. See, I had these brown patches of skin under my eyes. My mother had them too. But with Sasha's attention to detail and explaining how the different treatments actually rejuvenate the skin. Really made me feel a lot better about myself and how skin blemishes are a natural course of growing mature . Her shop is super cool looking with a dash of Hollywood, one might say. She's ExTrEaMlY good at making you feel at home right away. I've been to a couple places that felt uncomfortable or not clean enough to make me want to stay. So this is my repair shop for all my facial upgrades lol. The gal that was leaving a couple minutes after I arrived. Signed up for like 3 months of services from Sasha or more. Sasha did a amazing job and I'm definitely going back very soon. She had me laughing half the time and was just a amazing person. Personalized care, attention to detail, spotless environment, a place you want to be from the moment you step in the door. Not to mention therapeutic. Definitely as relaxing as going to a spa. I don't spoil myself much with these types of things really. But this placed is bookmarked in my heart forever. Thank you SOOOOOO much Sasha, you've made a friend for life. I can't thank you enough!! Do you have a Instagram or Facebook page? I'm going to connect if so. See you in a couple months =) read more

Best facial I've ever gotten. And I so enjoyed talking to Sasha while she was working on me.

I go in for a teen treatment and her IPL and the blue light LED really helps with my acne!

I'm having dark spots issues for years and after coming to the salon I noticed a difference on my skin. Her products and equipment are top notch! She knows and understands what needs to be done to get the results you want. read more

I Honestly can not explain how much I love this place! I never write any reviews unless I'm really satisfied. I have been going to Sasha for a little over 2 years and since then I can not emphasized how much my skin has improved. I'm always spectacle when it comes to trying new things for my face since I have seriously bought every OTC product there is, but that has changed since Sasha took over my skin. On my fist session I was really scared and asked tons of questions which she answered with no problem as she was very knowledgeable. She also had a questionnaire for me about myself and my skin which impressed me because it showed she really wanted to get to know me and would try her best to deliver my expectations, but most importantly letting me know it would be a process and would take time but she had all the correct equipment and treatments to get me there as she created a specific regimen for my skin and I no longer had to waste money on OTC products that would not even work. My skin looks very hydrated and healthy now, and I have been complimented many times I don't even have to wear makeup anymore to hide my blemishes or skin imperfections. I cannot thank Sasha enough for everything she has done for me! Her studio is cute and super clean and most importantly very welcoming. I love how she will do her best to accommodate you into her busy schedule. Her presence and atmosphere is just right. I love her decorations and the music she plays it tends to really relax me. Ladies it takes time to get to perfect skin but I promise Sasha can achieve it and even with the fist session you will see the huge difference. The treatments and products she offers are AMAZING, but the friendship that you build along the process is even better I swear it's the best thing for me I can not go a month without my oxygen for skin she does! read more

A very nice experience with the new technology to improve skin health. Very clean, relaxing, and friendly

Zero results after IPL. Her IPL device probably purchased on EBay for $100. Most of cosmetic services sold on Groupon are crap.

I had my first facial at Revive Your Skin Spa yesterday and love the results. Sasha is both knowledgeable and professional. My skin looks amazing. I highly recommend her services and Spa. I was so pleased with the immediate results I booked my next appt. before I left. read more

I really like Sasha she is extremely professional and enjoyable to talk to. Her facial prices are very reasonable and her spa is adorable and super clean! I will continue to see her to get my IPL facials. Would recommend to anyone!!! read more

I hate leaving negative reviews ESPECIALLY for small women owned businesses, but I feel it has to be said. I found this place on Groupon & Sasha was very nice & her place is very cute, however I found the cleanliness to be very unsatisfactory. I waited 15 minutes & was seen immediately after the client before me left & was taken right back to her room. The blanket was still messy from her previous client & she told me to lay down underneath it. The SAME blanket & on top of the same sheet used by the previous client. These should be changed after EVERY client! I politely declined the blanket & I felt very uneasy the entire time. I did comment about it but she ignored me. I did not return for my final treatment which was paid for & just took it as a loss. She does not clean or sanitize her equipment in between clients, she was ready to use the same red light mask on me that she used on the previous client & I watched to see if she would sanitize it, she didn't, & during a pandemic I expect so much better. My first visit I did not notice any of this things since I was the only one there & I really wanted to like this place & even referred friends to her & wanted to come back with my daughter. I asked my friend about her visit & she noticed the same things so it wasn't just my experience. Sorry, but my health is just more important to me than a Groupon discount. Make sure that you see her change the sheets/blankets & disinfect everything in front of you!! read more

Sasha was personable and welcoming, the decor was beautiful and the service was top notch. My skin was youthful and glowing when I left!

First time visit this week - what an experience. I normally go to spas to relax and expected the same here. But what a difference. I read ahead of time about the approach Sasha takes and was skeptical. Living in Silicon Valley, I am desperate to not look old and tired, so I took the plunge. Sasha is fantastic, relaxed, friendly and no selling pressure. I trusted her with my first Oxygen Infusion Treatment and felt that i looked better. The ultimate test came when I went home and hubby almost fell out of his shoes "Wow, you look 10 years younger" (this from the guy who barely notices when I get a haircut). I also feel very well and can see my face looking more even (less blemishes, sun spots etc.) just from one treatment. I just booked myself my second set (Sasha recommended 4xweekly and then every four weeks). She has already recommended some other approaches, so I am very excited to go back and leave my face in her fantastic hands. read more

I am so lucky to live so close by to this facial spa here in San Carlos. Parking is plentiful . Sasha' s knowledge and her great touch is great. And I'm a massage Therapist! . She often adds a beautiful hand massage. I have noticed a huge difference to my skin after 1 Oxygen and 1 IPL tx.. .Less wrinkles, tightened skin and just glowing. At 58, I really love the many compliments, but most of all the way I smile when I see my face. Thank you Sasha read more

Very gentle and relaxing oxygen facial. I noticed a difference in my wrinkles and skin tone after one treatment. The Groupon deals are very reasonable. read more

I have recently been to this skin spa for a few facials and have to admit that I am hooked! I have always stayed away from facials and am typically pretty leery of any skin care treatments as my skin is very sensitive to different products and I am extremely prone to breakouts (in addition to the wrinkles and crows feet that are also starting). So, I was very pleasantly surprised that they took a lot of time to discuss my skin care routine, products that I use, lifestyle (spend a lot of time outdoors!) and prior history to determine the best treatment and products for me. Additionally, during the treatments, the mood is very soothing and relaxing and I've even dosed off during the light therapy! So, it's a great stress reliever and break AND I've come out looking refreshed and glowing. I think my husband even said that I looked "illuminated" So, I gave a 5 star rating for the services and products! read more
