Dr. Amir Hajisfari and his team are not only skilled in their practice but also compassionate which is not common in medical services these days. They always welcomed us with a smile on their face and by name. The team rescheduled us with no questions asked and were always understanding and respectful of our unpredictable schedules. Lastly they were adamant about really asking how we were feeling. Enduring injury in an accident is a huge imposition on someones life and between lawyers, insurers, and doctors it can be stressful. The team at Countyline takes all of this into consideration and emphasizes their teaching of spinal health in relation to the neural health. Upon arriving the office took X-rays of our spine, having had chiro care before, this was uncommon to what my husband and I were used to. Afterward the doctor has a consultation about what needs to be repaired and their goals for treatment. Next you attend an orientation that only further optimize your results while undergoing treatment. My treatment began with Stem and adjustments. Transitioned into stem, physical therapy, and adjustments. Ending with physical therapy and adjustments. Every step of the way I trusted Countyline and their every move. Dr Hajisafari is one of the very few doctors I trust with my little one. His skill and knowledge on spinal care and health are top notch, easing her into the process and introducing her their popping teddy bear. Overall its easy to see that we were very happy with the treatment and amazing standards we received from Countyline at this location.

I was very pleased with my PT, Kevin, following my 4th spinal surgery recovery. Thrilled with the…read moreprogress for sure! My challenge with this practice is that at certain times of the day the small-ish space feels over-filled with patients, resulting in one's rehab plan becoming hindered or lacking because most of the equipment and treatment tables are in use at the same time. And for folks recovering from procedures & injuries, such chaos and crowding stressful at best, non-conducive to healing at worst. At slower times of the day the range of therapeutic options are very effective. That said, therapists have a tendency to congregate at the desk and chat amongst themselves vs. closely monitoring or effectively checking in with the 3-4 patients they are treating at one time. Whereas Kevin was much more involved with his patients, he is no longer with the practice, and I see no need to continue services there. Generally, as a rehab professional myself, I found all of the above disappointing.

To make a woefully long story short, I was up atop the foredeck of my boat adrift in a no wake zone…read morewhile I attended to some docking lines and fenders. Without me noting it, a four outboard engine center console with one of those outboard cowboys behind the helm went by throwing a huge wake. The wake hit my boat causing me to fall. In breaking my fall I completely tore the main ligament of my rotator cuff. Ugh! As those things once torn don't heal without surgical intervention I knew I was in for big problems. Once torn off they remain torn off forever which with me, caused me to lose at least 80% of the use of my right arm. I couldn't even pick up my cocktail glass....which for me is really a serious matter...having to suck a martini through a straw is just plain icky. So, I had the surgery but of course that isn't the end of the ordeal. In order to regain use, you must undergo rehabilitative therapy and to fully recover, at least for me well into my 70's, takes a full year. After surgery at Holy Cross I thought I could go to the Holy Cross therapy center but no. My dictatorial health insurance carrier said no. I would have to go elsewhere. In a stroke of super good luck I found out about Clear Choice Physical Therapy and I couldn't have been more pleased about it. The owner, Erik Bleeker, who holds a well-accredited masters degree (MSPT) in the science of physical therapy took me under his personal care and what wonders he was able to do with me to get my arm motions back and headed to normal are nothing short of amazing. He carefully explained everything to me and made out a complete plan charting a course for my progressive recovery. I had no idea how involved, how technical, what extensive knowledge and skills are needed but with his help I got to understand them. For those who have never been through this, it isn't easy. You'll need professional guidance or you could tear the whole thing apart all over again. Or if do the wrong exercises accomplish nothing more than freezing the mobility of your rotator cuff up which will put you in real trouble. So I'm passing this Yelp on to you in the event a misfortune might befall you and you too end up in need of physical rehabilitative therapy. Clear Choice and Erik Bleeker get my full recommendation and my full Five Yelp Stars.
