While on the table, she guided my intentions for the session and had me focus and imagine negative things floating away. I was able to let go of some very heavy things I'd been holding on to and came out of the session feeling so much lighter and more at peace. My second experience was with Cassidy for a 90 minute massage. I told her I'd booked it because I'd seen it was recommended after the reiki session and as a reiki master she explained the link and went into more depth with the connection between the two. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained things about my body that had been affected by my mental state of mind. She intuitively knew after working on me for a few minutes that cupping would be needed to increase the blood flow and asked if she could do that. Just surrender to her and let her work her magic! She also used the singing bowls at the end of my session. Overall, I went into these appointments wanting to just relax, grasping at straws to get negative energy out of me because what I was doing wasn't working. I left feeling so calm and happy and because of their consultations with so much information on how to move forward incorporating the principals of and understanding of how to keep that peace at home, make safe spaces for myself, and prioritize time for myself to prevent me from getting to the place I had been when I entered their door. This is probably the best and most relaxing facial I've had at this spa to date. Raven did a great job meeting my goals for hydration and relaxation, and honestly I'd book with her again! This experience was completely ruined when I went to check out and they declined my gift card. For Christmas my sister regifted me a $100+ gift card I purchased for her in March 2024 (It was a birthday present, and just due to various circumstance she was unable to use it). At checkout I was informed that the gift card was expired, but the spa owner was able to give me a "courtesy" discount for 20% off product in the store. Please note that as a longtime client of this spa I have NEVER seen or heard of any gift card expiry policy from Wild & Free and the gift card didn't have an expiration date on the card, on the receipt, and during purchase no one mentioned it. The spa owner claims "that has always been the policy" but it's listed obscurely in the "About" section on the website (not where customers could easily see it while purchasing a gift card) and it was not previously listed in the "Policy" section. Thankfully I was able to get a refund, but I will no longer be booking services with Wild & Free after this experience.
