EDIT: They got back to me quickly to fix this. It was a miscommunication, and I'm happy with the resolution. I got my second lobes pierced yesterday. They were fairly priced and it was clean. The holes are straight and in the right spot. However, the earring posts are too short. If I leave these in, my ears will heal over the jewelry. When I called, I was told these are the longest they had, and they would charge me for putting proper jewelry in. They made the mistake and I have to pay for it. read more

Ehhh nothing too special. Got a small piece done recently and some of the lines aren't straight. The piece isn't anything complex and I felt like the artist was rushing to get the next customer in. Shouldn't have taken more than 45 minutes but the artist rushed to get it done faster. Also, I had to pay and leave the tip before the work was done? Wasn't sure if this is common place for shops but having to put a tip before anything is done doesn't seem logical. Go at your own risk, maybe he was just having a bad day. read more

Since moving to the area a while back, I'd been looking for a good local tattooer and I couldn't find anyone I trusted to mark me for life. And then I met Chris. I knew some people who'd been tattooed by him and was impressed by his work so I went ahead and decided to get one done by him. One turned into two, two turned into three, and I just recently got my eighth tattoo by him done a couple weeks ago. He's become my go-to guy and I usually get tattooed by him at least once every couple months. He has a clean shop, professional staff, and a ton of awesome Sailor Jerry flash decorating the floors (under enamel, of course). We've had some awesome conversations about tattoo history (which is refreshing because a lot of modern tattooers don't know much about the roots of their own profession) and it's always a good time getting work done by him. We're currently in the process of finishing my left arm, then moving onto my torso. I work as a bartender and get asked who does my tattoos almost daily so I carry a grip of his business cards and give them out any chance I get. You know the saying, "cheap tattoos ain't good and good tattoos ain't cheap" but his prices are also very fair. This is only a review about the piercing aspect. I was visiting a friend in Davenport and decided to get my doubles (lobe) pierced. Reviews looked fine and it was close so we decided to go. All was fine until day 3 when my earring looked like it was being swallowed by my ear. I went to another local piercer for his opinion on what to do who said the post they put in was too short and should have never been used on a fresh piercing. He even struggled trying to get it out. Overall it cost me more money and pain than it was worth. read more

My tattoo looks great, I got a decent size piece done by Christopher and this is my 7th tattoo so I've had many experiences with detailed tattoos & different artist, like I said the tattoo is great but he is the most heavy handed artist I've ever had, I've never bleed during a tattoo and my arm was bleeding pretty significantly, it's now about a week later & it has a big scab which I've always never had with any of my other tattoos, some research has said this can be a result of a heavy handed artist, tattoo looks good but probably won't go back read more
