They checked in on how I was feeling throughout the entire thing, explained every step, and made me feel at home. I forgot to eat the first time I came and almost passed out afterwards and they fed me snacks, gave me water, and fanned me down until I felt better. What!? I have never felt so safe! I've been to other piercers for my ears and they always rushed the process and were never personable. But here at Pinky's? Oh, no baby. They are incredibly friendly and personable people and it's fucking awesome. I recommend everyone come here--especially if you're a woman, trans, non binary. This a safe space for queer folks!

When you go through the website you fill out info and they have someone reach out to you (for me it was via text) and they match you to an artist who matches with the work you want. Because I wanted a specific artist based off my friends work they were Super accommodating and set it up with no issues. When you first walk in the studio is clean and a nice open concept. Everyone is friendly and makes the check in process and easy. The background music is trendy and sets a fun mood. My artist was Shannon and she showed me what she came up with and once we confirmed she took some time to set up and sprung into action. She offered me water and bathroom breaks as needed. Overall I loved my experience and 100% will be back for more work done. I'm in love with my tattoo and love the experience they provided for me. Also my tattoo was $250 which is extremely reasonable!

I had researched a few artists in town, all are very busy and the good ones have a waiting list. With Black Swan, it's worth it. Due to the pandemic, they are even stricter now after the Delta variant with mandatory masks, no walk-ins, and no guests. I was in right before they enacted the stricter rules and was very impressed by how clean everything was. It has been a few decades since my last tattoo, but I was familiar with the process and knew about the sterilization, etc. They really put me at ease.Everyone was friendly and while professional, it felt like it was more of a family then coworkers there. So, while you cannot walk in right now and check them out, you can do so via their website and check out the individual artists on Instagram.
