Finding a hair and makeup artist was probably one of the most difficult vendors for me to find. I…read morekept getting quote after quote that made me feel like I was getting robbed. I was also having trouble because a lot of artists have a minimum requirement to book, and here I was, a bride without bridesmaids. But then, my mother-in-law found Jen at The Hair and Makeup Bar and she was just such a godsend! Not only is her price point fair but she is amazing at what she does and she is so kind and accommodating. My mother-in-law and some other family members decided to get their hair and makeup done as well and Jen offered to go to their hotel first on the day of the wedding and then to my Airbnb to do my hair and makeup. This helped eliminate the stress of driving on the day of my wedding. And even though we had 2 trials to nail down the look, it was SO humid on the day of the wedding that we decided to go with a different hairstyle.
