I don't get my brows done every month, more like every quarter. What impressed me from my initial visit was that Dani really took the time to plot out the shape of the brows. They offer waxing and threading, but I opt for waxing. For my recent trip, I decided to add lamination and tint. WOW - what a difference that made. I chose to do this because I was going on a trip, and thought it would be nice to have my brows look ready to go at all times, especially when I would be in the beach/pool most of the time. I absolutely love how they came out, and have received tons of compliments about them. Will definitely be back! This spot is located on alcazar in the gabled tucked away kind of by the Banana berry smoothie shop and behind a barber shop on the main part of the street. Manuela who supposedly even teaches, sells herself as a professional eyebrow specialist. They're out to get your money. I paid $700 for a job that looks like $200. I will post photos of before getting my two lasers done and after which are the current brows from Miami Brow Bar. I've been doing my brows for over 25 years. My previous technician unfortunately moved so the need arose to find a new place. I found Miami Brow Bar on Instagram and saw she did a nice job. In discussing my situation with them, I was clear and provided the areas that needed repair and adjustments before making any appointment. They assured me that they could and would work with me. Although nervous, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. Once finished, Manuela, appeared nervous. She did a darker color than my actual hair color. She told me to wait until the retouch to adjust the color and shape. During the retouch it became clear she lacked experience and care. She made them worse. Since then I have sought different opinions on the work and all have returned the same verdict. "They ripped you off because the job is not correct " I hope this helps others not become victims of this incompetence and find another place.

Her studio is located within highlight Salon on Ponce and is absolutely adorable. First of all, Kaitlin is a total sweetheart and super easy to chat with. I visited first for a brow clean up, and today I added tint. It came out fabulous and I really love the way she does brows. She also offers lashes and lamination services. I find her pricing to be super affordable- a brow clean up with tint was $55 and the cleanup is $30. Parking is easily found on the street and service at the salon is remarkably friendly. If you're looking for a new brow gal, the brow babe is def for you!

I've been going to this spot for over a year and I have been so satisfied with the amazing attention to detail Amberys has for brows at such an affordable price. What has changed: * you must make and pre pay for your appointment in advance * no one but you and amnerys are in the salon at a time and she lets you in, opens the door and has no other clients or staff inside while you're there. * you must wear a mask. It was in walking distance from our hotel (The Mayfair) so that was really convenient. The district overall is super cute and has everything you may need. We called ahead and set an appointment for two pedicures, and even confirmed before getting off the phone that they had the time to fit 2 people in. However, upon arrival only one lady was available. They immediately gave us attitude when we insisted that we needed two spots, but obliged. They don't have you sit in the big, comfy pedicure chairs either. Just regular "dining" chairs for lack of a better word, and a rolling "foot stool" to prop your feet on. For someone with hip issues, like myself, it was extremely uncomfortable having to prop one leg at a time on this foot stool that was at the height of the pedicurist's eye level. Oh yeah...make sure you don't wear a dress/skirt here. As far as soaking goes, it's just the little pedicure tub you can buy at your local Walmart. My polish was sloppy and they didn't even bother rubbing the lotion in all the way. I didn't feel like the cost matched what you get in the slightest, but after all they provided a service and I'm not one to give you $0 for your time..so I paid and went on about my day. I just know I won't be back.

Upon arrival for my appointment, I noticed they didn't have a great selection of colors at all and didn't have the original color I asked for. I wanted to walk out but I also needed a pedicure. I sat down and decided to go with a different color even though it's not what I wanted and endured a painful, I non relaxing pedicure. No massage.. She cut my nails too short and not the best paint job. I don't know why but this place never seems to be great.. it's always just average and if you don't speak Spanish you may not get what you're looking for. Also, they don't do acrylic so don't expect to get a refill or any kind of care for your current acrylic if you have them.
