Nyrva is always my go-to for makeup! I do my own makeup for work and casual outings, but whenever it's a special occasion, Nyrva is my girl. She is such a sweet soul and so easy to talk to-you feel comfortable with her as soon as you walk through the door. Our birthdays are both in August, and she always does a special birthday-month promo, which I love! My makeup always looks amazing, but it never feels like I have piles of makeup on. She listens to what I want, pays attention to the details, and truly cares about her clients. Over the years, she has easily become more than just a makeup artist to me. I always enjoy sitting in her chair, and I leave feeling beautiful every time. I recommend her 1000%! Marquita read more

I cannot recommend Nyrva enough. From start to finish she was professional, attentive, and truly listened to the look I wanted. She created the most flawless, radiant finish. My skin looked smooth, glowing, and still felt like me. The makeup lasted all day without creasing or fading and I received so many compliments. She enhanced my features beautifully while keeping everything soft, elegant, and timeless. Her attention to detail, blending skills, and color matching were absolutely top tier. Beyond her talent, she made the entire experience feel calm and enjoyable. I felt confident, beautiful, and completely taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend. read more

Make me up Nyrva - Me after make up - Makeup Artists Near Me - Sunrise, Florida

Nyrva is not only a doll, but this woman knows her stuff. I hired her for my wedding day makeup and from the initial consultation - to the communication in between - to the actual big day, she was wonderful. This is probably too much detail, but if you want to know what to expect, especially as a bride, this is for you :) During the consultation, she really took her time with me. She helped me with my vision and listened to my feedback. We played with two different looks, tweaked them to choose the final look, and then she took pictures and noted everything. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and was indecisive about what looked best, and she guided me through the process in a gentle way. She helped influence me but left every decision up to me. I knew even before the trial was over that I wanted to work with her. So we coordinated the details to meet at my wedding venue for my makeup as well as my momma's. On the wedding day, she arrived to the venue early. My mom and I were franticly running around and stressed out from the wedding coordinator avoiding our calls. Nyrva came in like a breath of fresh air and changed the vibe with her calm demeanor; reassuring us while staying on top of the schedule. She was organized and prepared with her lighting equipment, chair and makeup kit. When my mom's makeup was completed, she looked stunning. The makeup fully absorbed into her skin after the first hour and from there, her skin looked gorgeous. For me, my skin was slightly tanner from our initial meeting and she still matched the concealer perfectly. I also decided I wanted a thinner eyeliner and eyebrow shape and sprang this on her last minute. She delivered exactly what I asked. My makeup was heavy of course for the sake of pictures, but it was done in the most natural-glam way possible. I felt like I looked like the best version of myself, and most importantly with flawless skin. I was worried my husband would think I looked overdone, because he doesn't like makeup at all. (When I came home from my trial, I could tell it was too much for him). But, I watched his eyes light up when I met him at the aisle and he told me I've never looked more beautiful. That wasn't just wedding sweet talk- he really meant it! As far as longevity, our lipstick did fade by the reception, as I later noticed in pictures, but eyelashes and skin stayed perfectly intact. If I had brought blotting paper and a lip color (there's my tip!), I would have looked perfect all night. But, for not doing any touch ups or even looking in the mirror for 6 hours, the makeup really held up. And I did have quite a few teary eyed moments. So, if you've read this far and still on the fence about booking Nyrva for any reason, just do yourself a favor and meet her. She's professional, punctual, and reasonably priced for what her package includes. One thing to note: she doesn't provide touch-up makeup as listed in the bridal package. In terms of technique, she's talented. I compared artists in the area and not one could compete with Nyrva's skin transformations. She has a gift for matching skin tone seamlessly and executing the perfect coverage on problematic skin. On top of that, she's a total sweetheart and a joy to be around. Bottom note: she made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day--what more could a bride hope for. read more

Thank you Ms Ny for visiting us at 9am for my daughters 13th bday! Nyrva was on time, organized. Brought a powerful light. Her bag was clean, her makeup was clean, orderly, and tidy. She was able to have fun and yet stay focused. She got through 3 of us in an orderly fashion. Would definitely use her services again. She charges a travel fee. We paid for her to meet us at home. She quickly set up on the dining room table. We had a fun morning. Thank you Nyrva! Hope your business continues to prosper. You are in our prayers! read more

Nyrva is FANTASTIC. My brother was getting married in Ft Lauderdale 12/28 and I had no clue where to find a makeup artist for my mom & me. Come to Yelp and she pops up. Spoke to her on the phone, had my goddaughter check out her IG (she's into makeup, I'm not) for the ok and we were good to go. I know nothing about traveling makeup artists, makeup in general outside of some lipstick. What made Nyrva GREAT, she was always in communication with me, and when I had 4 more girls want their make up done, she was able to accommodate us. She came with a whole chair, lighting, stacks and stacks of makeup. She transformed everyone into something special and did different look for each person. She uses high quality pro makeup, has a soft touch and you don't feel like you have a ton of goop on your face. She's really sweet too, and a pleasure to work with. It's rare I give 5 stars, but this young lady definitely deserves it!! read more

We loved this girl!!! She was awesome. She came to our house... all pretty, make up done and beautiful skin I might add. I chose her because she looked like she could do all kinds of different looks. She did my daughters make up so natural but with a little pop. My daughter has a few dry patches on her face so she never wears foundation. Nyrva knew exactly what to do. She made my daughters face look flawless without having a heavy cakey make up look. Thank you so much Nyrva for making my daughter feel pretty. I would totally recommend her.
