We had plans to meet with a few different folks, but meeting Bonnie over coffee, that one conversation was enough to convince us she was absolutely the person we wanted to be our officiant. On all fronts, she 'met us where we were', offered insight and suggestions when we asked for them, but was equally collaborative in the process, and just genuinely thoughtful and kind. She brought such a positive energy both in our wedding planning and especially the day of the wedding. Leaving that first meeting with her, we legit just discussed on the walk in the parking lot and had essentially made our decision by the time we reached the car. As an officiant, and honestly just as an individual, we couldn't recommend Reverend Bonnie more highly. From all we saw, atop handling her duties as an officiant with a rare balance of reverence and lightheartedness together, she just struck us as a genuinely kind person and that made the process of working together so effortless. He loves what he does with such a passion, and that certainly comes through as he brings a couple together in marriage. What a beautiful human being...he is so full of life, laughter and love! He even stayed for our reception, and everyone loved him so much - we had so many people tell us afterwards what a wonderful man he is and how impressed they were with him. However, WE were the ones who were most impressed and grateful beyond words. He made our wedding everything we wanted it to be and yet so much more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, James!

James has lots of examples of prayers, vows, and readings on his website so it makes everything very easy to plan the ceremony. I knew that I would have trouble reading my vows in front of everyone so James was more than happy to read them for us. When going through multiple websites, I noticed that the officiants are always standing next to the couple for their first kiss. James let us know ahead of time that halfway through the ceremony he moves to the side so that it will only be the couple in the first kiss pictures. I would never have thought about this and was so happy when he mentioned it. I'm definitely glad we chose James as the officiant of our wedding, and we would highly recommend.

We had to change our plans a number of times due to the pandemic and Christel always went with the flow -- we ended up having a minimony on our original date in June 2020 with immediate family present, and we were able to do that because Christel was down to still marry us despite everything going on in the world. We are forever grateful for that. She then went the extra mile and showed up for us by also leading a vow renewal a little over a year later for our originally-planned wedding celebration that we finally got to have with the rest of our family and friends. Both ceremonies were a beautiful balance of fun, serious, authentic and unique -- even drew some laughs and cheers from attendees during them! She kept in touch about once a month and asked information to avoid problems and last minute/costly mistakes with paperwork. Simple. Customized. Genuine…read more We really loved working with Sarah - from the very beginning, it was an easy-going process to figure out how everything worked as far as the ceremony. She met with us shortly after our engagement and after we had set a date - walked us through what a few of her ceremonies had "looked like" as well as offer the things that would make it more personal for my then-fiance' and I. What I really enjoyed about Sarah's process was that she helped us figure out what kind of ceremony we wanted (we are both religious, but opted out of getting married through the church) so we decided on a partially religious ceremony that included a welcome, a dedication from our friends and family to support our marriage, a poem read by my cousin, our own written vows, ring exchange, and because we grew up near the sea, she incorporated a special and custom Nautical/Sailor's Knot tying ceremony...which everyone LOVED. For the rehearsal and actual ceremony, she was friendly and helpful with our bridal party and family as well as accommodating when we made a last-minute change. After we got hitched, she took our marriage license and got it to the state within the week and within 2 weeks we got our official returned license! Sarah was the best fit for us - she was so great to work with as well as super organized and helpful. Not to mention she gives you options for payment as well. We'd definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a customized wedding ceremony in just about any Austin location!

Reading 5 star after 5 star review, I had to meet her - I had to meet Sarah and there she was - this GORGEOUS woman with fire red hair and a heartwarming smile. That smile and her heavenly voice won me over in an instant. Christian and I both felt a calmness because we knew we found our gal - our conductor that would orchestrate our ceremony with ease, poise and grace. She's spunky and down to earth. Her ceremonies are authentic, natural and real - never forced or copied. She delivered our ceremony as if it was straight out of a Nicholas Spark's novel. Her heart is so full with love and it radiated throughout the day - each guest felt that presence. I couldn't imagine our day without her. She made it so magical. Our ceremony was a little bit different, this was a vow renewal. My husband is from Sweden and his family couldn't make it - or so he thought. I had secretly arranged for his family to come to surprise mid-ceremony. Sarah carried it out like. a. BOSS. We will never forget that overwhelming sense of love and shock and all thanks to you - we have that moment to look back on forever. We love you so much Sarah - you are a blessing.
