Rev Lorelei was the absolute BEST in personal customer service from the very first phone conversation asking all types of questions of what we were looking for in our vows and providing different types of religious service options, flowers, limo and all the little extras regarding our vow renewal. She gave us several great outdoor locations to check out and we settled on Mayfield Park in Austin, It was absolutely gorgeous and my grandsons are still talking about the peacocks and wanting to catch the fish out of the lily ponds. Lorelei and her husband Ed are an amazing pair of wonderful people! They made Scott and I feel at ease from the first meeting and 100% comfortable during our wedding ceremony! Rev Ed conducted the ceremony and he loved my horseshoe ring carrier. Since we are ranch people, instead of having a traditional ring pillow I made a beautiful decorated horseshoe from one of our horses and tied our wedding rings to it. He didn't mind blessing the horseshoe (although I think it was a first for him) and now it is hanging here in our home as a sign of our commitment and good luck. His words really honored us as a couple and our beliefs on marriage. The planning process is quite simple and Lorelei responded to all of my emails promptly. If you are thinking of an upscale wedding with all the bells and whistles or just a simple vow renewal they offer everything in between and have several different packages that will meet anyone's needs at a reasonable price. Once again, our ceremony was held in Austin at Mayfield Park at Lorelei's recommendation and it was the perfect back drop for some gorgeous photo ops and was spot on for our small ceremony plus we had the park all to ourselves! Rev Ed and Rev Lorelei are beyond amazing. We didn't have a large amount of family local and didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, so we chose an elopement package with not many expectations. They did a phenomenal job starting with coordinating it all in one weeks timeframe. They guided us (lost) over the phone to the venue, where everything was set up. The photography came out amazing, with no effort or prompting on our part and yet Lorelei managed to capture every single important moment! It was easily the most stress free event I have ever been a part of let alone MY own wedding! Our ceremony was held in Elgin at a friend's house, and I was disheartened when I first started contacting Austin wedding officiants and was finding none that would come to Elgin. Then I found ElopeInAustin.com through Wedding.com, and got in touch with Lorelei. She immediately let me know it was no problem for them to travel. Wonderful company that helped us arrange a romantic elopement at the Chapel Dulcinea. The ceremony was performed by Katrina and it was beautiful, she really personalized it for us and made sure to pronounce my name correctly!
