Josh Baker and his team at Unique Renovations (UR) are the consummate professionals for commercial…read moreor private construction and or restoration services. Josh assembled a great team of framers, roofers, painters, electricians, and gutter professionals to work on a project at my home, and they all displayed proficient skills and motivation. UR completed an outdoor project for me and they operated within my budget, worked quickly, and met my expectations, and deadlines. The UR team worked professionally, quietly, and safely. No matter which group was working on the project that day, they cleaned up every day to maintain a safe, worry free environment for my family and pets. All the members of the UR team were respectful and courteous as well. We wanted a cover for our patio and knew just enough to not try and do the job ourselves, or call various different outfitters to complete the job in long drawn out stages. I decided to turn to contract help. I haven't personally dealt with contractors before, but I know people who have. If you have used contractors in the past, or are currently using one, then you probably have a story or two to tell about how your expectations, deadlines, or needs weren't met. With that in mind, if you've had these kinds of experiences, or are currently having them, then chances are you didn't use, or aren't using, the wonderful team at UR. Not only is our new patio cover well-built and crafted with quality materials, its sturdy functionality is also beautiful! It is with the highest level of satisfaction that I offer this glowing review on our final product as well as my full-fledged endorsement for Josh and his team at UR. Matt M.

Unfortunately I have to update this review (until circumstances change however I am not holding my…read morebreath,) Tony started out as a trusted ally - we recently purchased a 2nd home as an investment and hired him to redo the bathroom and kitchen. He quoted the project as a 6 week time frame starting mid February 2024- it is now almost August 1st and we still have an unfinished bathroom. He cemented over the vent in the bathroom - which makes the bathroom out of code and not eligible for resale and with it not being addressed in a timely manner this leads to other issues- such as a vent heating and cooling over fresh poured concrete causing other unforeseen consequences. (Ie cracked concrete, foundation issues, ect..) We were hoping he would do the right thing and make us a priority and focus on fixing this asap however the experience has been the opposite. Including no call - no shows and unpaid invoices to the hvac company who uncovered the issue. We even provided him a positive referral in good faith for a bathroom remodel which ultimately led to him winning the bid. However he keeps telling us that he has not had any receivables since the issue and that he is still waiting and needs more time Week after week it has been this story. There are also several other action items he needs to address and fix and has not. Such as the door trim, paint, dry wall. Things that could have been completed before addressing the vent issue. His team also painted over wallpaper and he told us after the fact. He also asked for more monies outside of the contract. Unfortunately, we are going to have to go the legal route as this is a code violation issue and he is not taking us seriously.
