When we first moved here, we lived in a rental home while searching for a home to buy. We still needed a few things, like new office chairs, to work on our PCs during this time. We found two nice chairs, both under$20.00 each, that would have been $85-$125, at a brand new office supply store. After we found our Dream Home last month, we realized we wanted to see what they had regarding living room furniture. We hit the jackpot! A local furniture store had donated some brand-new sofas and matching love seats. The style and color went perfectly with our new living room. Needless to say, we bought them. We also scored a three piece coffee and end table set made of metal with beveled glass tops. To top it off, my husband found a new office desk! Our total is with a discount of over 25 %...under $250.00. Yes, we had to rent a U-haul truck; this put our grand total under $300.00. It is late, and our cat is snoozing on the sofa, so I will have to add pictures in a day or two. Those of you who have not checked this place out should do so if you like good deals.

Virtually everything they moved was scratched or gouged because they put our furniture in a storage unit and it was not stacked properly nor protected. They put a heavy metal toolbox on top of our dining room table. Our bedroom set was tipped on edge directly on concrete. The mattresses were shoved on top of everything and our 55" TV was tossed on top of that. Nearly everything was just shoved into a location where it would fit without regard to proper storage and handling practices. The owner agreed to repay to cover for the damages but has yet to send any money. Now they won't even return calls. Looks like legal intervention is past due.

From the newest and nicest digital machines (they accept cash, digital payments AND cards!) to a fresh-smelling, gorgeous facility, healthy snack vending options, and even a kids' play area -- I was like, "Cali ain't got this!" :-p I ended up chatting with one of the owners (so nice to meet you, BTW!), who was originally from Stockton, California. She and her husband took this laundromat and completely rebuilt/remodeled it, turning it from rags to riches. My wash was only **$4.25**, and 34 minutes of drying was **$3.35** -- and that was with a deal! So if you're in Springfield, relax, get your laundry done, and enjoy this baller laundromat!
