As someone who is really picky with music, the process was extremely smooth and everyone said the dance floor was the busiest they've ever seen at a wedding! They have a great application that really helps you get all of the details accounted for and Frank himself was also just amazing to work with! He had wonderful advice on how to get and keep the party going, what he's seen at other weddings (giving advice but not being pushy), and throughout the wedding day he was so great to be around and kept the energy going. This is [another] very long-overdue review for Adam/Revel Entertainment! The venue we chose had a handful of DJs that we had to pick from. We narrowed it down to Adam and someone else, but in the end, we ended up going with Adam, and that worked out PERFECTLY!!! We booked Adam for our spring 2020 wedding, which ended up being postponed twice, to late summer 2021. Luckily for me, Adam was available for all of those dates, so we were able to keep him as our DJ/MC! From the very first meeting before booking Adam, to the VEEERY end of the night (after most of our guests had already left and everyone else was cleaning up), Adam was SOOOO super friendly, and VERY relatable! We have some similarities in our lifestyle choices, so that was one of the factors as to why we got along so well! Adam was very reliable, caring, and helpful! He was able to help us figure out what to do since we really don't like the attention all on us the entire day. So he was able to come up with suggestions and games to fill up the time, and that worked out so well! The day of the wedding, he was there super early to set up. He was there to greet me when I just got to the venue after getting my hair and makeup done! He mentioned to us in one of the last meetings that he'd be there every step of the way and would give us instructions on what to do right before so that we wouldn't forget. That worked out really well because that day was so crazy that I literally forgot certain things that we had talked about on rehearsal day (that we had with our coordinator)! So I truly appreciate that aspect! We had several events in our timeline that ran way over the time that we had scheduled it for, but Adam worked with our coordinator to handle everything, and everything literally just flowed so well! The one unforgettable thing that Adam had suggested to us during one of our last meetings since we wanted an unplugged ceremony, was to add in a "photo minute", which happens right after processional, where everybody could take as much pictures as they could possibly want, and then put their cameras away. It was funny to see how people reacted, where at first, they weren't sure on what's happening, and then 10 seconds later, we had people rushing up to take selfies and even pictures with us. I still remember that minute, fresh in my head, like it had happened yesterday. It was truly awesome to see everyone let loose before the ceremony stared. Even one of my friends mentioned how he loved that we included that into our wedding. Adam, as a DJ, was a-mazing, but Adam as an MC, was even better! He was so professional whenever he had the mic, and knew exactly what to say. He even had to read some long wedding party intros since my husband wanted the intros to be the Chicago Bulls' theme song, and he nailed it! One of my friends, months after the wedding, complimented how well Adam did as an MC, saying that he had the right voice and the right choice of words every time he had the mic. I was actually considering on booking another MC so that they can do language translations since some of our guests don't speak English, but in the end, we figured we'd just let Adam do his thing since the handful of guests that needed translations, were there with others who spoke English. So I'm definitely glad we went that route! I HIGHLY recommend Revel Entertainment/Adam if you're looking to book a DJ for your wedding! Very professional, friendly, caring, reliable, and funny!
